Salem is about 11-12 months old. He is up-to-date on his shots, FeLV negative, and has been neutered. He has not been microchipped.Salem is extremely affectionate and loves to play. He has a sister, Sissy, that is also looking for a home. Last picture is of her. She is solid gray. If they do not stay together he will need a home with someone that will spend a lot of time playing with him & loving on him. His favorite games are fetch and his chicken.I had two cats that passed of old age. My autistic granddaughter was attached to them. I waited almost three years before I was ready to adopt new kittens. She is terrified of these new babies. I've had them since July. I thought things would get better over time, but that's not the case. I have to choose my granddaughter.

Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet female cat, who will be 3 later this year. We adopted her as a kitten and she has always been very gentle, loving, and timid. She does struggle with anxiety and would do best in a quiet home without young children or other pets. With three small children in our home, we feel the environment has been overwhelming for her, and despite our love for her, she spends most of her time hiding and has recently started spraying which I believe it related to stress. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but we truly want what is best for her. She deserves a calm, peaceful home where she can feel safe and comfortable. She is a very sweet cat who bonds closely once she feels secure. We are looking for a patient, understanding home that can give her the environment she needs to thrive.
