Story

Zelda was born I believe around October 2018. She has had regular vet checkups, vaccines, etc. we did have her front nails removed due to having an organ transplant human in the house and wanted to eliminate risk of cat scratches. Our vet agreed with this decision. Because of this Zelda has only ever been an indoor cat and should remain one. She accidentally got outside once and was very frightened. Over the years she has stopped using the litter box and will only go on dog pads. We’ve tried everything the vet and online chats recommend and she hasn’t changed her mind. She shares the house with our other cat and they get along fine. She does not like dogs at all! She is a very large cat around 20lb. She doesn’t groom well so we shave her in the summer and she loves it. We need to focus on a disabled grandchild and can’t be cleaning the floor all the time. Please care for her. ❤

I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. When I was found with another kitten (Ellie), we were young, feral cats living in a local trailer park community. We would not have survived if someone hadn’t saved us and brought us to the HSofMC. I have made incredible strides when it comes to socializing. I still can be a little shy & reserved, but I love to play, run and hang with all the other adoptable kitties. I’m a beautiful tiger kitty with soulful, sweet eyes. I’m looking for my furever home where my humans can be patient with me so I can continue to blossom & become a forever, loyal companion. My siblings and I were pretty sick when we were found but with much TLC, we are thriving now! Without being rescued we all would have certainly perished. Luckily, we were found just in time and brought here for all the TLC we needed. I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County to find me a permanent home. I was born in 2019 and found abandoned in a rural area in Morrow County. I had endured an injury that made it hard for me to walk but that healed in time and I had no long lasting effects from it. I was subsequently adopted in late 2019 and was recently returned to the Humane Society as my owner was unable to keep me due to changes in her life. I am now looking for a final place (no more pit stops please) to spend the remainder of my life. This has been a difficult time for me so my wish for the New Year is a new family that will love and keep me forever. Here are my highlights:  I am a spayed female  I was born in the Spring of 2019  I have been wormed, negative tested for FLV/FIV and vaccinated with felovax and rabies vaccine.  I get along with other cats and dogs  I am microchipped.  I am quiet, loving and playful once I’m comfortable in my surroundings!!

I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a furever home. Despite being absolutely beautiful, I unfortunately hold the title of being the longest current resident here at the ARC since I’ve been with the HSofMC since August of 2023. I was found as a sick stray and brought in by a kind citizen. I am loving and affectionate and crave the attention of humans…but unfortunately, I don’t care much for other cats so the best setting for me would be a single cat household. I would make a great lap cat and bring great companionship to anyone after a long, hard day at the office. Here are my highlights: • I am adult spayed female estimated to have been born in 2021/2022 • I have been wormed, negative tested for FLV/FIV, vaccinated with the Felovax or FVRP vaccine and rabies vaccine. • I am microchipped. • I prefer to be in a single cat home. • I have not been dog tested. • I am very loving, relaxed and quiet.
