Story
Mittens is an eight-year-old friendly gal who’s easy to handle and easy to adore. She’s a bigger girl with a plush figure, and while she’s perfectly content just the way she is, she could benefit from a gentle weight-loss journey to help her feel her best. Because Mittens is currently a little extra fluffy, she sometimes struggles to reach certain, shall we say… hard-to-access areas during grooming. Her arms are simply not long enough for the job she’s trying to do back there. As a result, she may need a helping hand from her humans now and then to keep everything tidy and comfortable — she promises to be very appreciative (and probably a little embarrassed). Mittens is a quiet, calm kitty who doesn’t ask for much. Her favorite place is right beside you, warming the couch, the chair, or the bed while keeping you company with her peaceful presence. She’s not demanding or high-energy — just a gentle soul who enjoys closeness and a relaxed home. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who will happily share your space, accept your affection, and maybe even let you help her with a little self-care along the way, Mittens might just be your perfect match. Meet Mittens at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek.

Story
Say aloha to Poke — fresh, flavorful, and full of good vibes. Just like the Hawaiian dish he’s named after, this 2-year-old cat is unique, irresistible, and best enjoyed every day. Poke has that effortless island swagger: he knows how to walk into a room and immediately set the tone. Confident? Yes. Full of himself? Nah—he’s way too chill for that. Poke is easy-going and relaxed, the kind of cat who can lounge like a pro but still keep an eye on everything happening around him. He’s got charm for days, a cool presence, and a natural ability to make people smile just by being himself. Think laid-back surfer energy with just enough sparkle to keep things interesting. If your home could use a little more sunshine, a little more flavor, and a whole lot of island vibes, Poke is ready to bring the aloha straight to your couch Visit him at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek. **Please note: we only adopt within Ontario.

Story
Felicity is a 3-year-old dilute tortie with beautiful medium-length fur and a sweet, thoughtful nature. She’s a bit of a nervous gal at first and prefers a calm, quiet environment where she can take things at her own pace. New situations can feel big to her—but give her time, patience, and a peaceful space, and she slowly begins to bloom. Once Felicity feels safe, her true self shines through: a lovely, gentle companion who enjoys quiet company and the comfort of familiarity. She’s the kind of cat who will reward kindness with trust, and whose affection feels extra special because you’ve earned it. If you have a serene home, a patient heart, and room for a cat who just needs a little time to feel secure, Felicity could be a beautiful addition to your life. Story
Meet Little Grey — or LG, if you’re already on nickname terms!! (case #7690) Little Grey is an eight-year-old sweetheart with the softest soul and the biggest heart. He was adopted this past June and deeply cherished by his person, a senior who doted on him and found enormous comfort in his gentle companionship. Sadly, due to an unexpected and serious change in her health, she had to move into a care facility where pets aren’t allowed. Saying goodbye to LG was incredibly hard — he was truly loved, spoiled, and well cared for — and now he’s looking for his next forever home. LG is a loving, social boy who genuinely enjoys being around people. He’s happiest when he can be near you, whether that’s batting at wand toys, playing with his favorite toys, or curling up beside you for a cozy snuggle. He also has a special talent for claiming the bed as his spot, stretching out contentedly and soaking up the comfort. Coming from a quiet, calm home with no other pets or children, Little Grey may do best in a similar environment where he can feel safe and settled. Since arriving, he’s been a bit out of sorts — which is completely understandable given how much his world has changed — but beneath that uncertainty is a deeply affectionate cat who just wants to belong again. Little Grey isn’t just looking for a home; he’s looking for his person. If you have a peaceful home, a warm bed, and room in your heart for a gentle companion who will adore you right back, LG might be the perfect match. Story
This is Mr. Rogers, a 3-year-old gentleman who was well known in the neighborhood — and not because he borrowed sugar politely. Our guy has clearly been hosting the after-dark block parties of the feline world and has the résumé (and battle scars) to prove it. When Mr. Rogers arrived, he was looking a little… post-apocalyptic chic. He had a few street-earned souvenirs—scrapes and cuts here and there—and thanks to some necessary vet care, he’s now sporting a velvety, choppy, avant-garde haircut that says “I didn’t choose this style, this style chose me.” His wounds are healing nicely, but his look currently falls somewhere between tough guy and modern art exhibit. And yes — let’s address the neighborhood gossip. Mr. Rogers previously carried the unmistakable Eau de Tomcat, an aroma that boldly announced, “I have seen things.” Good news: he’s now neutered, the issue has been solved, and while there may be a faint lingering memory in the air, it’s nothing time, love, and a cozy couch won’t fix. (Think: “ghost of masculinity past.”) Despite his rough-and-tumble backstory, Mr. Rogers is shockingly friendly, affectionate, and ready to trade street life for soft blankets and a regular feeding schedule. He’s eager to settle into indoor life, though there may be a few adjustments as he learns that hands are for petting, not boxing, and that neighbors no longer require intimidation. Under the clipped fur, healing scabs, and slightly questionable scent history is a total sweetheart who’s ready to become the Fred Rogers of your living room—minus the cardigan, plus whiskers. If you’re looking for a cat with character, comedy, and a redemption arc worthy of public television, Mr. Rogers would love to be your neighbor. Story
Frosty is a one-year-old floofy black gentleman with a handsome mane that tends to stop people mid-sentence. He knows exactly how good it looks, too—once he’s had a little time to settle in. At first, Frosty prefers to observe the world quietly and make sure everything is up to code. After a bit of adjusting (and some reassuring vibes), he reveals his true self: a sweet boy who’s very ready to rub against you and accept your admiration. He’s not a fan of sudden changes and can feel overwhelmed in new situations, which may result in some searching for an exit and a bit of expressive commentary. What helps? Patience, gentle voices, and letting him set the pace. The good news: Frosty is young, curious, and learning every day. With consistency and comfort, he’ll continue to grow into his confidence and show you just how loving he can be. As a medium-haired beauty, Frosty’s luxurious locks do require some upkeep. Regular brushing will help keep his coat glorious and mat-free—and it’s a great way to earn his trust (and possibly a headbutt). If you’re the kind of person who understands that the best relationships take a little time, Frosty may just be your perfect match. He’s worth the wait.
