Story
Little Meg came from a house of many and feels a bit shy. She likes burrowing into blankets and cuddling with her friend Lois. Several people have told us that she is very sweet once she opens up to you. If you would like a quiet cozy companion to talk to and share your life with, we encourage you to take her home. She has a damaged eye, but don't let that throw you off. It doesn't affect her daily activities. We think her left pupil just got permanently dilated for some reason and perhaps her cornea was scratched. Come see her to see just how pretty her coat and personality are! __________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov. Or by calling the shelter at 901-757-7358.

__________________________________________________________________ Lois is a sweet and quiet cat. If you have a nice quiet house where she can cuddle a companion and follow you around, she may be the cat for you. She loves cuddling with her pal meg. She is a bit shy, so it will be some time before she opens up to you, but her friendship will be genuine and long lasting. She came from a house of many so she is looking for some one on one attention. Would you like a dainty girl? All animal adoptions are typically $80. Story
Willow is a very active and vocal 3 year old kitty who would prefer to be an indoor/outdoor cat. She loves to sun and watch birds outside, but also likes to curl up in a chair in a quite space for her catnaps. She was taken in when her previous owners unexpectedly moved out of state, and unfortunately we can no longer keep her. She would do best with older children as she does not like to be held, but she loves her pets and likes to sleep near you. She is microchipped. Willow comes with a litterbox, toys, and food/water bowls.

Story
Note: this cat is not offered as a pet, as he is not friendly. He was removed from a property with an overwhelming number of cats and the community has requested that he not be returned. He is very good at hunting, so he is offered as a barn cat. Ideally he would like a rural area where he has plenty of critters to chase. He has been known to occasionally approach people but doesn't accept handling. They do tend to become stressed in a shelter, so perhaps with more outdoors, he will relax and come say hi. __________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80. Note: This cat is not offered as a pet. She was removed from a location to which she cannot return due to community request, as there was an overwhelming number of cats. We put the friendly ones up as pets, but she does not approach people or accept handling. She knows how to hunt well, so she is offered as a barn cat. Ideally she would enjoy a rural setting with plenty of critters to chase. And, as you can see, her coat is a very unique calico expression. She will definitely get compliments. ________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80.
