Weight: 11 lbs.Medical: Sappho was diagnosed with a bladder stone, which can cause signs such as straining to urinate, frequent urination, blood in the urine, or urinating outside the litter box. Bladder stones can form for a variety of reasons, and the identified stone was surgically removed prior to adoption. To help reduce the risk of recurrence, this cat has been started on a prescription urinary diet which a prescription will be sent home with you. With proper dietary management and monitoring, many cats with a history of bladder stones do very well long term. Beyond that Sappho appears to be overall a healthy cat, but it`s always a good idea to get them set up with their vet.Adoption Fee: $75 plus tax.
