Story
3 years old (estimated) Neutered male No known experience with cats, dogs, or children Looking for a working or indoor/outdoor home Ferdinand is a confident, outgoing guy who loves meeting people and being part of the action. He’s friendly, curious, and always ready to ask for attention with his adorable little meows. Ferdinand happily comes right up for pets and affection and enjoys exploring new places to see what’s going on around him. One of his favorite spots is the catio, where he can relax, watch the birds, and keep tabs on the world around him. While Ferdinand is a social and affectionate cat, he doesn’t enjoy feeling confined and can become frustrated when he doesn’t have enough space or outlets for his energy. When that frustration builds up, he may resort to biting as a way to communicate that he needs more freedom and stimulation. Ferdinand would thrive as a working cat or indoor/outdoor cat where he has room to explore, stay busy, and put both his sharp mind and hunting instincts to good use keeping rodents at bay. In the right environment, Ferdinand will be an entertaining, affectionate, and hardworking companion with plenty of personality to share. Working cats are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and their adoption fees are waived. We simply ask that you provide food, shelter, and keep an eye on your feline employees to make sure they stay safe and healthy for the rest of their lives.June 20, 2026, 6:14 pm

Story
5 years old (estimated) Neutered male No known experience dogs Did well with a cat in a home Was scared and overwhelmed by a toddler in a home, would do best with older children Positively Purrfect cat who has tested positive for FIV* Peanut Buster Parfait may have a bit of a sad expression, but don’t let that fool you, this boy is full of love. Once you start petting him, he melts into the attention and shows just how happy and affectionate he really is. He may be a little unsure in new environments at first, but it doesn’t take long for him to settle in and start showing his sweet personality. He enjoys being around his people and soaking up gentle affection, quickly becoming a calm and loving presence in the room. He also has a playful side and especially enjoys food-dispensing toys, which are a great way to keep both his mind and body busy while having fun. Peanut Buster Parfait previously lived with another cat and did well, showing he may enjoy a feline companion in his new home. While he’s a sweet and social boy, he was scared and overwhelmed by living with a toddler and would be happiest in a calmer home without young children where he can feel comfortable and relaxed. With a little time to adjust, Peanut Buster Parfait blossoms into a devoted companion who’s always ready for pets, playtime, and quiet connection. With his soft, affectionate nature and gentle personality, Peanut Buster Parfait will be a wonderful companion who brings comfort, companionship, and plenty of love into his new home. Thanks to a generous sponsor Peanut Buster Parfait's adoption fee has already been paid! *Positively Purrfect cats have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). It is not contagious to people or other species of pets. It is passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds (like those inflicted during serious fights), blood transfusions, and rarely from mother cats to their kittens. Studies have shown that spayed/neutered and cat-friendly FIV+ cats can live with FIV- cats without risk of transmission. FIV suppresses the cat's immune system which makes it easier for them to get sick and harder for them to fight off sickness. When kept as well-cared for indoor pets, FIV+ cats often lead normal, healthy lives.June 20, 2026, 6:14 pm
