Hi there, I’m Holstein! Just like the cow I love some good food, pleasant naps in a sunbeam, and talking whenever I can. I’m a grown-up cat with a great heart and an even bigger appreciation for the good things in life! I love gentle pets, cozy spots, and being near my favorite people. I’ve been through my share of challenges in this furry life, but I’ve handled them like a true trooper, and I haven’t let any of it dull my friendly spirit. In fact I am quite the talker and I`ll tell you everything that has happened in my life so far! I’m the kind of companion who will greet you like an old friend, settle in beside you after a long day, and remind you that loud loyalty is just as good as a comforting silence. If you’re looking for a cat who is affectionate, resilient, and ready to be your talkative companion, I think we might be just right for each other. Come on down to the shelter and let`s have a wonderful chat! Medical History: Holstein has some medical concerns that your adoption counselor should talk with you about. To summarize, Holstein suffers from middle ear infections which appears to have been causing some long term affects known as Horners Syndrome. With that they have had some dental surgery due to their periodontal disease, which they were having troubles with when they came in to us. Your counselor can go into more depth and detail about their medical, but it is recommended to get them into your vet after your adoption so they can look over all the work done, and provide care after adoption.
