Story
Kayleigh is an affectionate cat that loves to sit with you on the couch while you watch tv or read. She loves to snuggle on her terms. She loves cat nip and toys and occasionally gets the zoomies. She does not get along with other cats or dogs and needs to be an “only child.” She likes to go outside in our fenced backyard for supervised fresh air. And loves sitting in tall cat trees and watching out of windows. She loves wet food and cat treats and could stand to loose about a pound. She is in excellent health. She would make an excellent companion for someone who works from home.

Story
Little Pea is a gentle, sensitive 7-year-old girl who truly blossoms in a calm, quiet home. She’s a beautiful grey and tan dilute with the softest expression to match her sweet personality.Little Pea has spent the past few years in foster care, where she’s made steady progress building confidence. She can be shy at first and may hide when something startles her, but with patience and consistency, she comes around and forms strong bonds with her people. Once she feels safe, she enjoys window watching, quiet companionship, and gentle affection. She’s not a fan of being brushed, but she’ll happily settle in near you once she trusts you. She’s used to a peaceful household and would do best with a quiet family who understands that some cats just need a little extra time to feel secure. Quick changes or busy environments may cause her to retreat, but give her stability and she’ll reward you with loyalty and quiet devotion. Her ideal home has someone home most of the time, either retired or working from home. She should go to a home with no other animals for the least amount of stress in her home as possible. Little Pea is spayed, up to date on vaccines (including a 3-year rabies vaccine through 2028), and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She’s had dental care in the past and is currently doing well medically. If you believe that the best relationships are built slowly and gently, Little Pea might be your perfect match. She’s not flashy. She’s not bold. She’s just a soft-hearted girl looking for a safe place to land with a human to call her very own. READY TO ADOPT? Story
If you`ve been looking for a cat with a quiet, laid-back personality...Smith would like you to know you`ve come to the wrong profile. This handsome tuxedo has one speed: **all in**.Smith turns absolutely everything into a game. A toy? Fantastic. A crumpled receipt? Even better. An invisible speck on the floor? Clearly his greatest opponent yet. He`s a big talker, an enthusiastic helper, and firmly believes that whatever you`re doing should probably involve him. He`s also incredibly people-oriented. Smith loves being with his humans and wants to be part of every moment of your day. The flip side? When he`s overstimulated or has energy to burn, he can get a little mouthy. Smith will do best in a home that gives him plenty of space to run, climb, explore, and play. A small apartment probably isn`t the right fit. He`ll need patient adopters who understand that he`ll likely need time to decompress after all the changes he`s been through, along with lots of interactive play and enrichment to keep his busy mind occupied.Smith should go to a home without young children. He may enjoy a confident, playful dog, as he doesn`t seem fazed by canine friends, but introductions should always be done thoughtfully.Smith would thrive with adopters who enjoy interacting with their cat. Puzzle toys, training sessions, climbing furniture, and lots of interactive play will help keep his busy brain engaged. With his confidence and curiosity, he may even be a great candidate for leash training and outdoor adventures with a patient adopter. The right person won`t see Smith as `too much.` They`ll see him for what he is: a brilliant, hilarious, endlessly entertaining cat with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Give him the space, structure, and attention he craves, and you`ll have a best friend who`s always ready for the next adventure. This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Cooper, Evangeline, Archie, and Bubba didn`t have the easiest start in life. Born in a barn, they spent their first weeks learning that people should be avoided. When they arrived at Angel`s Wish, they were understandably unsure of the strange humans trying to care for them.Fast forward to today, and these four have made incredible progress! Every day they become a little braver, greeting their caregivers for meals, exploring new toys, accepting gentle pets, and rewarding kind attention with happy purrs. They may still greet you with a tiny hiss now and then, but don`t let that fool you. It`s simply an old habit that quickly melts away once they realize you`re there to offer treats, playtime, and affection.Because they`re still building confidence, they`ll do best with a patient family that understands they`ll need a little time to settle into a new home. The reward is watching them blossom as they discover just how wonderful life as a beloved family cat can be.These kittens have always had feline friends by their side and will need another playful, confident cat in their new home. They`d also be thrilled to be adopted with one of their siblings! If you`re looking for the joy of helping a kitten continue their journey from timid to treasured, one of these sweet little ones may be the perfect addition to your family. This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption CenterREADY TO ADOPT? Reba is a striking torbie girl with a gorgeous streak of orange running right down her forehead! She’s a thoughtful little lady who likes to take her time when faced with something new. Reba can be cautious with new people and experiences, but once she has had time to get to know you, she’ll be ready to show you her sweet side.Reba would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s looking for someone who understands that the best friendships aren’t rushed—and that giving a cautious kitten time to feel comfortable is well worth the wait.Reba is Martina’s sister, and like her, she must have a feline friend.
