Story
Tabitha’s foster parents say she may just be the sweetest cat who has ever lived — and they’re not wrong. This gentle, loving girl wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up in your lap every chance she gets, and happily spend her days soaking up all the affection you’re willing to give.Tabitha is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. She thrives on companionship and truly depends on having her humans nearby. If you work from home, are retired, or just love having a constant cuddle buddy, she might be your perfect match.Because Tabitha isn’t comfortable staying at the adoption center without her people, she’s available to meet by appointment in her foster home.If you’re ready for a loving shadow with a full-time lap-warmer job, Tabitha can’t wait to meet you.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Meet Shasta — a gentle, shy sweetheart who’s quietly learning to trust the world.Shasta is a beautiful brown-and-white tabby who came to us with her brother, Star, but they do not need to be adopted together. What Shasta does need is another friendly, confident cat in her new home — a feline buddy who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe.Shasta is still finding her confidence with people. She isn’t quite ready for much hands-on attention yet, but she’s safe, cared for, and making slow, steady progress. With time, patience, and a calm environment, she’ll continue to blossom at her own pace.If you have a quiet home, room in your heart for a shy kitty, and a resident cat who would welcome a new friend, Shasta may be the perfect match. To help her find a new home faster, Shasta is an Angel`s Wish Forget-Me-Not and her adoption fee has been reduced to $25.This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center, and may also be adopted by appointment during the week by approved adopters. Story
I’m a bicolor girl with a stylish little black mustache and a curious spirit. I like to take my time getting to know new people, but once I decide you’re safe (and especially if you come bearing snacks), you’ll see my chatty, playful side come to life.I love to explore, watch everything that’s going on, and hold long, thoughtful conversations—especially when it’s dinner time. Food is definitely the quickest way to win me over!I’m looking for a home with another friendly cat to hang out, play, and swap secrets with. If you’re patient, kind, and appreciate a cat with both style and personality, I think we’ll make a great team. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.READY TO ADOPT? She is a lovely companion for a single adult or a low-key household. Her favorite activity is receiving gentle chin and tummy rubs. She loves being brushed and purrs softly when she is receiving one-on-one attention. Story
Willow is a cat that always wants to be in on the action, preferably in the lead. She keeps her foster family laughing with her proud prance anytime she captures a cat dancer or other toy and carries it away. Her favorite toy is the one that is so hard to capture, the ball in the ball track! When playtime is done Willow loves a good cuddle for her naps. Preferably on a human. If you are looking for a playful cat who will be curious about what you are doing and ready for a lap when it is time to rest, Willow is your girl.Willow is enthusiastic about everything, including her food. She will eat what is in front of her to the point of making herself sick. Her foster family has found she does best with multiple small meals a day or having food distributed via a toy. Willow loves toys that either hide or slowly distribute food. It is fun and there is food! Willow needs a friend to join in her play. She enjoys playing with her current foster buddy, Kimberly, but would also do well with another young cat. Especially if it is a cat that lets her take the lead like Kimberly does. You can meet Willow and allow her to fully introduce herself to you at adoption events in Verona. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Meet Azalia, a beautiful brown torbie girl with a thoughtful, observant spirit and a heart that’s slowly blooming. She’s the kind of kitten who watches the world carefully before diving in—but once she feels safe, her sweetness shines through.Azalia is a cat’s cat at heart. She feels most confident with a friendly feline buddy by her side, and she absolutely must have a companion in her new home to show her the ropes, help her settle, and share in all the fun. With people, she starts off reserved, but she warms up steadily—especially toward the person who fills her food bowl. Earning her trust is incredibly rewarding, and you’ll see her affection grow day by day.Playtime is where Azalia really lights up. Glitter balls are her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily bat them around with surprising enthusiasm. And while she’s not quite ready to declare herself a full-time snugglebug, you can see how much she wants to be. She just needs a little more reassurance, a little more patience, and a home that understands that some kittens blossom at their own pace.If you’re looking for a gentle, curious girl who will thrive with a feline friend and grow into a loyal companion, Azalia is ready to start her next chapter. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.READY TO ADOPT?
