Story
Wrigley is a full-figured feline who is unapologetically herself. She is big, bold, and opinionated. If you are breathing too loudly, she may give you her classic stink eye with no remorse. If you admire her beauty for too long, she will turn her face away from you; no unpaid modeling around here! Wrigley believes that personal space is key, and prefers to only accept pets on her own terms. When she wants love, she is the best girl and loves head scritches. She will even say “thank you” with some kisses when you are done. She thinks belly rubs are absolutely ridiculous, and she is not interested. If you try, she may give you a little love bite to say “paws off.” No big deal, though, there is more than enough Wrigley to go around. Beneath her grumpy glare is a girl who secretly enjoys your company, even if she will never admit it. Snacks are the best way to worm your way into this lady’s heart, from soft food to Churus, she is always down to eat. Some say it’s the munchies; we just say it’s Wrigley. In all seriousness, Wrigley does love to spend time with her humans, but just prefers to live life on her own terms.

Story
Meet Whiskers! This sweet little lady is full of delightful personality. She loves to cuddle, play, and has done well with other cats, a small dog, and kids! Overall she has been absolutely sweet and perfectly imperfect.  As for her more noticeable traits, she has a cute little nub tail and a slight gimp. She has quite the sad back story. Whiskers came to us from a shelter in Oklahoma after being hit by a car. Sadly, she had been pregnant and lost her babies. She arrived with a severely injured tail and unable to walk. Her tail had to be amputated, but she thankfully regained the ability to walk. She is now incontinent, needs to wear diapers, and should be expressed twice a day. Whiskers doesn't mind one bit and has adjusted well to her new daily predicament— And she's the cutest little diaper girly ever. Let's help her get to her forever home!

Story
Meet Kanga, a sweet girl with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with playfulness. She adores snuggling and having fun, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves both affection and playful antics. Kanga will need a feline friend in her new home. If you don't already have a playful kitty for her to bond with, consider adopting one of her "Pooh Crew siblings to join in on the fun and cuddles! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Please note that the Misfit Felines policy requires that young kittens will either need a sibling to go home with or there must be another playful/young feline already in the home. Adopters will receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws). Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application. Story
Meet Reishi, a sleek and mysterious 5-year-old black cat with a heart full of untold stories and a spirit as resilient as her namesake. Reishi is a soul in search of a patient and understanding home where she can truly blossom. Reishi's low-key demeanor and independent nature make her an ideal companion for someone who values tranquility and understands the beauty of earning trust over time. While she may initially be reserved and prefers to keep her paws firmly on the ground, she'll gladly accept affection on her own terms, reveling in the gentle strokes of a loving hand. Reishi's FIV+ status and grade 2 heart murmur add an extra layer of uniqueness to her story, but it certainly doesn't define her. FIV is a feline-only virus that lowers a cat's immune system. With regular vet check-ups, many FIV+ kitties live long lives. FIV+ kitties can live with other cats as long as there is no fighting, as the virus is only passed through deep bites. While Reishi's compatibility with other cats remains uncertain, she seems unfazed by most things, suggesting she could potentially coexist with the right feline friend. Reishi is a mystery waiting to be unraveled, a soul yearning for a patient and compassionate companion to share her journey with. If you're willing to open your heart and home to this beautiful black cat and earn her trust one gentle gesture at a time, Reishi will reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship and unconditional love. Reishi is approximately 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV negative. Adopters will receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws). Story
Meet Brownie! I'm a sweet, gentle little black kitten who loves hanging out with my foster family. I'm playful, but always gentle-I know how to have fun without getting too wild! When it's time to wind down, my favorite place to be is snuggled up under a blanket, either next to or curled up with my favorite humans. I get along great with the other cats in my foster home and have loved every person I've met so far. While I haven't met any dogs yet, with the right introductions, I think I'd do just fine. I'd be happiest if I could be adopted with one of my siblings or into a home with another playful kitten to help me burn off all my kitten energy!
