Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED!! Female-2 Years Old-Catahoula Leopard Mix Akia came to the shelter as a fearful stray and look at how far she’s come. She used to be hesitant of humans and would observe from afar. In the past few weeks, she has started running toward volunteers with excitement and anticipation for her booty scratches. Last week, she played with a toy. She’s learning how to be a dog that isn’t scared of people and now she’s running out of time. She would thrive as an indoor/outdoor solo dog where she could enjoy sunshine during the day and cuddle with her human at night. Her adoption fee is paid, so she’s free to adopt to an approved home! Help us share this post so Akia has time to continue learning not all humans are bad. ❤️‍🩹

Story
Snuggle. Bunny. Yes, we know Luna is in fact a dog, but we just consider that a bonus! You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. Thoughtful to a fault, she knows there is no room in that lap for other critters, so asks to be your only snuggle bunny. Est DOB: Mar 2018 * Intake weight: 49# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksJanuary 7, 2026, 10:28 pm

Story
Meet our litter of terrific pups! There are six in all, and their names are Ivy, Rose, Toby, Nala, Beau, and Sally! Catahoula/Lab mixes. They're 4 months old, weigh about 22 pounds and will probably grow to around 45 to 50 pounds or more. A delightful group, they are friendly, love affection and seek play time when they can. (They love toys!) They're quite good on leash for their age, and they're quick to learn. Puppies Delight! (posted 12/26/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **December 16, 2025, 2:18 pm
