Story
Volt is being fostered in NC. Volt has some vision. update Volt is doing well! He lives for cuddles at night before going to bed in his crate. During the day he has one speed and that is lightning fast. His favorite treat is carrots and he will do anything for them but lay down, lol. He has a pretty good recall and knows sit. He is fully potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go out. He plays so gently with his foster mom's mini aussies and rough and tumble with Elektra (corso) and Trigger (lab). Volt had some grand mal seizures that were caused by Simparica Trio. These lasted about 3 weeks with lingering focal seizures. He is still on keppra and he's doing great! He has not had any seizures in the last 3 months. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately

Story
Wrangler is being fostered in PA.Wrangler has some limited vision.Wrangler here with an update on me, foster Mommy said I had to do it since they did some new tests on me. First, I am a big boy at almost 1.5 years old now! Anyway, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which they are treating with low fat food and watching my diet. Also, my B12 is low so foster Mommy gives me a shot every 3 weeks. I do great with the shot, she gives it while I am eating and I could care less cause I just want my food lolAlso, something that goes with the IBD thingy is anxiety and I try, but am scared of new things. I like to go slow meeting new ones. I can’t tell my foster Mommy why, but I’m scared of men. We are working on all this. I am great at home and I don’t do anything in the house when foster Mommy leaves because I have other doggies I am with. So as long as I am not alone, I am ok. We are trying Prozac to see if this will help relax me enough to get over my fears because I am a sweetie, really! And, I just love cuddling on the couch with foster Mommy and sleeping in bed with her. Even though I can stretch out and take up leg room at times hee heeBDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Skye is a little beam of sunshine in a fur coat, adorned with the most beautiful blend of colors and markings. Once forgotten soul, she’s now a happy girl who celebrates life with every wiggle and grin. Out in the field, she becomes a joyful comedian — rolling in the grass, kicking her legs in the air, and trotting around with the silliest, most heart‑melting enthusiasm. She also loves playing with her dog friends, bouncing around with that sweet, silly energy that makes everyone smile. Her playful side is only half her charm. Skye adores human companionship — she lights up for affection, melts into gentle pets, and loves everyone she meets with her whole heart. She’s the kind of dog who makes you feel chosen, cherished, and appreciated. Skye is beautiful, but she’s even more breathtaking in person. Her soft eyes, her sweet spirit, her grateful little smile… she’s truly a gem, a heaven‑scent gift waiting for the family who will treasure her. Skye is 4 years old. Story
Snoopy makes you smile and laugh all day long. He has magical superpowers that make your dopamine levels skyrocket. Snoopy’s markings are so striking and uniquely gorgeous that magazines Dogmopolitan and Dogue would compete over who gets him on their cover. This little cutie may be small in stature (he’s even smaller in person!), but his personality is bigger than the Eiffel Tower. He’s fun, bright, and bursting with charm—proof that the best things really do come in small packages. Snoopy is so adorable and funny, it’s so hard to put him back in his kennel after volunteer shift because he’s so much fun and makes you so happy. Sometimes we think he ate glitter for breakfast because his personality sparkles and shines all day long. He’s dog friendly too. Snoopy is 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog. I LOVE Snoopy!  I know you will too. Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org to meet Snoopy. ******** 1 year old. Neutered, UTD vaccinations, microchipped, wormed. Story
Meet Sawyer! At approximately months old, Sawyer has already had quite a journey. This handsome boy showed up as a stray, frightened and alone. He was found cowering under a house, clearly terrified and completely lost. Despite every effort to find his family, no owner ever came forward, so now Sawyer is looking for the forever home he truly deserves. Our veterinarian believes Sawyer may be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and at about 55 pounds already, he's going to be a big, athletic boy! Sawyer has blossomed in foster care and is proving to be a wonderful companion. He is crate trained, knows the commands "sit," "down," and "stay," and has excellent house manners. He always takes care of his potty business when he goes outside. One thing that's become clear is that Sawyer was likely an indoor family dog before he was lost. He enjoys playing outside, tossing his toys into the air and chasing after them, but he doesn't like being left outside by himself. The moment he thinks his person is going inside without him, he'll race to the door, eager to be with his family. He loves toys and loves to take them outside to play with them. Sawyer is incredibly smart and observant. He quickly learns routines and pays close attention to everything happening around him. At bedtime, he settles quietly in his crate without a peep. In the morning, he patiently waits until he hears everyone else getting up before he's ready to start his day. This sweet, goofy boy has a playful side that will keep you smiling. He loves chasing bugs (as long as they aren't chasing him! 😊), and the frogs in his foster home's yard haven't had a moment's peace since Sawyer. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi but can be transported to you! Please let us know if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy and we will send you an adoption application! 💲 Adoption Fee: $450 The adoption fee includes: 🐶 Spay/neuter 💉 Vaccinations 🪱 Deworming ❤️ Current heartworm and flea prevention 📍 Microchip 🚚 Transportation to you via Rescue Riders LLC Pet Transport!

Story
Maryann needs a hero. Growing up in rescue is not living her "best life". She has not had it easy. She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue. Now, she is hopeful that someone will see her sweet nature and beautiful colors and make her their newest family member.
