Phoebe is a great little girl. At just 38lbs and a year old, she is pretty small. She is new to the rescue and we are learning more and more about her. Phoebe is crate trained and housebroken. She is very affectionate and loves to give and get attention. She could use some work on the leash and with social interactions with other dogs. She is smart and learning, but is also over confident when it comes to other dogs, so if she were to go into a home with another dog - they would need to be very tolerant, stable and correct appropriately. Pumpkin was abandoned by her previous owners and found in a sinkhole in the backyard along with her puppies. Pumpkin has been at our shelter now for almost 2 years and is still looking for her forever home. Pumpkin needs an experienced adopter willing to take the time to get to know her. She is friendly with people but not with cats and she is dog selective. She would probably do best in a home with no other dogs and an active owner who enjoys being outside. Pumpkin can climb a chain link fence so a wooden fence would be best.

My name is Hayden but my mom says I should’ve been named chewy because I am the king of all bones! I love my toys, bones, balls… basically anything I’m allowed to have! Mom says I’m the best boy because I’m more careful than my brother when I walk, but I’m still a big baby. I love when I’m allowed on the couch (but only when my feet are clean). I’m so lucky! I sleep in my moms room on my big bed (on the floor) with my brother! My other 2 siblings sleep in there too….it’s a sleepover every night!    I’ll use the doggie door but sometimes I forget, I’m a work in progress aren’t we all? I got to get in the pool this weekend and met a small toddler. I think I was more nervous than she was, but we both did great! I don’t mind the cat or the other dogs here if I annoy them, they let me know, and I just go find something else to chew on!    Mom says my one area of opportunity is listening, but because I am so cute and smart and loving I make up for it! My name is Handsome, but my foster mom said it wasn’t a fair name, since there’s other handsome boys in the house. But we all know how handsome I am. Everybody who comes to visit says I am so beautiful… and then they pet me and kiss my forehead! I love it! My family has started to call me Bex, and I listen! Since I’ve been at my foster moms I’ve done so many cool things! I’ve met a cat, learned to use a doggy door, been on walks and even got in the pool! I met a little human this weekend and she was nice! I walked as careful as I could around her. I’m still mastering the house training part, but I’ll go in my crate and I love to sleep on my doggy bed. I am definitely still a little boy at heart. I’m either napping or running around chasing my brother. I am very friendly and I like everybody, Mom just says I have to be careful because my feet are so big I can’t always see what’s underneath of me. I like to look out the window to see what’s going on. I would definitely like room to run, and a chance to be a playful, sweet boy. I have a nice good bark and Mom says it’s good for stranger danger. When we were contacted by someone who took her away from that owner but couldn't care for her either and were literally in a packed up car ready to abandon her and Kito in the back yard and move. Thankfully our volunteer drove up there and grabbed both dogs. We got them both into the Vet right away and got them cared for now they're looking for their forever homes. Sweet as a Peach!! Hi there! My name is Peaches and I am approximately 2 years old. I am a mixed breed and around 45lbs, but cute as button! I am not a very tall girl eventhough pictures make me look alot bigger (don't they always say the camera adds 10lbs!). My foster parents say I am super sweet , very loving and am totally a lap dog, eventhough I need a large lap! I am very well house trained, love to lay in my large crate and walks are definitely a favorite thing!! I do like to enjoy the sun and nice weather so either a screened in porch or fenced back yard would be the best! I get very excited when my people come into the house! When I get super excited, I do not just wag my tail, my whole backside moves like I'm dancing!! I am looking for my FUR-ever home and looking forward to lots of hugs and cuddles! I am great with cats, other dogs(with proper introduction) and kids of all ages!
