Koda is a 6-year-old, 48-lb Catahoula mix with a sweet soul and an energetic spirit. He’s a fun-loving guy who lives for playtime, especially tug-of-war with his favorite humans and a good game of fetch. He also enjoys racing around the yard with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to keep him company (he’s more of a chase-and-run kind of player than a wrestler so far). Koda is affectionate and bonds closely with his people, which means he doesn’t love being left alone for long periods. He’ll thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, and ideally with another dog to help keep him feeling secure. He can be a little anxious at first, but once he settles in and feels safe, his loving personality really shines. This agile, athletic boy enjoys going on walks, is very food-motivated (treats are the way to his heart!), and already knows sit and listens pretty well. With his intelligence and eagerness, he’d do great continuing to build on his training. Nyx is a 4 year old amazingly stunning girl full of love. Her color is beyond beautiful. She loves to play and sunbathe on the deck. As much as she loves the yard, she loves being inside a home and being with a person. She loves giving kisses and is an absolute lover. She has yet to meet a stranger. She loves to snuggle and wants the attention or she's happy laying down and chewing a bone. Nyx would be best being an only dog as she deserves a lot of love. She loves yak chews, cheek bones and bully sticks. She is crate trained but absolutely amazing in a house. She's never had an accident in the house. Nyx doesn't bark, she never growls and extremely quiet. I fostered Nyx 3 years ago and have kept her, waiting for her forever home. I kinda became a foster fail, but as I have a dog with cancer that needs extra attention, Nyx deserves more. She didn't have an easy beginning and I'd love to find her a happily ever after.
