The staff believes that the best place for Heartworm positive dogs like her to be while going through treatments and recovering is with a loving and forever family like yours. If you choose to adopt her, the clinic staff will be with you every step of the way, answering questions and offering support. The process from detection to the final treatment is generally three months and involves some simple at-home steps to keep her safe while she recovers. The last step in the process is a follow-up test six months after her treatment begins. The Heartworm treatment process is highly successful and the staff anticipates that she will fully recover!
