Fern enjoys playtime and exploring her surroundings, but she also appreciates quiet moments and affection. She has a gentle, friendly nature and gets along well with both male and female dogs. She hasn’t yet been exposed to cats, so we can’t speak to how she’d do there. Due to her energy level, Fern will do best in a home with children over 10. As a possible Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd mix, Fern is likely to be intelligent and active. She’s looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and consistency a young dog needs and is excited to help her grow into the confident, well-rounded dog she’s meant to be. Like most puppies his age, Pogo is playful, curious, and endlessly adventurous — but he's just as happy to curl up for a good nap once all that energy has been burned off. Meet Quinn! 🐾 Quinn is a 1-year-old bundle of happiness who is full of confidence, personality, and playful energy! This fun-loving girl is always ready for her next adventure and could happily spend all day playing. She loves her toys, especially the flirt pole, and can keep herself entertained even after a nice, long walk. She's a total goofball who is sure to bring plenty of laughter and fun to her new family! Quinn is also a smart and highly food-motivated pup who already knows her basic commands and is eager to keep learning. She's been doing very well on her walks and walks best with a harness. She's also making great progress with potty training, and her foster has found that she does wonderfully with a diaper when needed. When it comes to playtime, Quinn likes to have FUN—and she can be a little intense about it! She enjoys rough-and-tumble play and can sometimes come across as a little overwhelming to other dogs or people. She also has a funny habit of thinking that corrections are actually an invitation to keep playing, which can make training a bit challenging. She'll need a family who is patient, consistent, and ready to help her learn appropriate ways to interact while channeling all that enthusiasm into positive outlets. Quinn absolutely LOVES people, dogs, and cats.
