jTake a look at stunning Merle. He's a beautiful Catahoula Leopard mix who has the most interesting and beautiful merle colored coat which is how he got his name. He also has one blue eye and one brown eye so he's got lots of colors going on! He's fully grown at 60 pounds and is approximately 14 months old. He's a happy go lucky guy and very sweet. He's super friendly to everyone he meets and is great with other dogs. We think he'd love to have another dog in her new home but could live happily as a single guy too. Zion is the new kid in town! He is a gorgeous Catahoula Leopard mix who recently landed at our Rescue Center. He is 50 pounds, playful, rambunctious, dog-friendly, and very trainable. He's a ball of energy and affection. Zion was rescued alongside 91 other dogs from a hoarding case in Mississippi and spent the first months of his life on a chain. Now, we're looking to show Zion the better, brighter parts of life that this world has to offer. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Meet Atlas. While his DNA is very rich in dog breeds (18 actually), his appearance is quite unique, with two breeds as the main standouts. His face and ear structure look mostly Pitbull, but his "glass eyes", height, thick body (about 65 lbs), and mottled coat are distinct characteristics of his distant Catahoula Leopard dog relatives. Atlas loves a good cuddle and is the best hugger. Although he can be a little stand-offish around strangers at first, he warms up quickly to people of all ages. He does well with children and with other dogs that do not have as dominant of a personality as his own. He loves hikes, exploring, runs/walks, chasing balls and frisbees, playing tug, and chewing on toys. He will dig from boredom if he is left alone outside for long periods of time without sufficient engagement. He knows a few commands but usually prefers to perform for treats. Atlas is an affectionate, active dog that needs an equally loving and active family to meet his emotional and physical needs.
