Hello, Northeast people! I’m a handsome Catahoula mix puppy named Boudro. I am about 4 months old, weigh 16 lbs, and I’m sporting a handsome merle coat and gorgeous icy blue-green eyes. I was one of a group of puppies, one being my sister Brontë, and we were set to be euthanized at the Port Lavaca Animal Control in Texas, when, bless our lucky stars, 4 Little Paws Rescue made a 5-hour drive to save us. These days, we are vaccinated, microchipped, happy, healthy, and ready to find forever homes! I am a very nice boy, friendly and charming, sweet and playful, and I love dog toys. My foster mom reports that I am gentle and really well-behaved for a puppy, already housetrained, and I rarely bark. I have not tried walking on a leash yet, but I am good in a crate, and I am a good sleeper, snuggling up on my foster mom's bed. I make friends easily, am always happy, wagging, and will fit in easily with any family looking for a wonderful puppy! Inquire about me today! CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ: Whoa, who’s that gorgeous light merle new cutie? It’s the playful and loving young Harlem! (previously known as Leonardo at the shelter, lovingly dubbed Harlem by his fosters) Sweet boy Harlem is only 1 year old and weighs 60 lbs. He has a rare light merle coloring that makes him stand out, but this good boy also has an outstanding personality! He is friendly and outgoing, greeting everyone he can – and climbing into laps if he can, too! Harlem is a sweet boy who does happy zoomies and enthusiastically plays with his toys. Harlem bonds deeply to his people and looks to them for comfort. Poor Harlem was originally found as a stray and although he suffered from kennel stress in the shelter, he was otherwise a very good boy. With how loving he is and how good at giving kisses, it is no wonder Harlem steals hearts wherever he goes! Harlem absolutely adores his fosters, wanting to be by their side and can tend to be a "velcro dog" so he is all about being your best friend! Being a young guy, Harlem has a higher energy level, so he loves to go for walks and play outside. He is dog friendly, currently living with multiple other dogs but will need proper intros, of course. Harlem is so excited to begin his second chance at life! Who isn't up for some fluffy sweetness? Cash is a male puppy who was saved (along with his brother, Moose) from a shelter in Texas. He's estimated to be about 7 weeks old (as of 1/19/26) and we don't really know what breed he is - though our best guess is a catahoula mix. Cash and his brother Moose both love to be carried around, and loved up. They are vocal puppies as of right now and Cash is the more energetic of the two. Cash is receiving his puppy vaccinations and, if adopted, will be ready to arrive to the NJ area on our March transport. Personality: friendly, playful, affectionate, energetic, vocal, loving, curious Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs. Has not been cat tested yet. This boy was adopted from us two and a half years ago but his adopter can't keep him due to recent health issues. Lids is a three-year-old, 75 pound boy who is full of energy, and love. He's a cuddler and an affectionate boy! He is looking for a family who can show him love and patience, and work with him if needed. He is good with humans of all ages, including kids. But we recommend older kids because of his energy. He is good with dogs, but like most dogs, he will need a proper introduction. No cats for him. He is housebroken and knows commands for 'sit', 'down', 'off', 'high five' and 'come'. He does need some work with his leash walking skills. The best home for Lids will be: With an active owner who can take him hiking, running, or do agility with him. A friendly and playful resident dog (if there already is a dog in household).
