Story
Calypso is a girl that is happy to be here. She has had a bit of a rough start in life so far but it has not dampened her spirit. She loves attention & is hard pressed to let anyone else be the center of attention. Petting another dog? Not if she can help it. She will push her way into the spotlight & because she's a big strong girl she tends to get her way. She likes other dogs & does well with cats. However, she does not always realize how big & strong she is so she does need to be reminded when playing with smaller dogs. While she likes to play, she also likes a good snuggle & nap. She will happily lay snuggled in bed & indulge in pets & treats. She is fully potty trained, & kennel trained & looking for the person or family that is going to love loving her.Milwaukee, WIDATCP#483538

Story
If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/

🐾 Adopt a Pet from MuttLife! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! 👉 For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi 👉 Visit our website: Muttlife.org Straight from his loving Wisconsin foster home, 𝗞𝗮𝗶 is already melting hearts. He absolutely loves everyone he meets—including kids! This sweet guy is mostly potty trained, with just a couple of accidents as he adjusts to his new routine. He’s learning fast and is well on his way to perfection. 𝗞𝗮𝗶 isn’t a huge fan of his crate—understandably so, since his last experience involved a long flight—but with some gentle encouragement, he’ll go in. His foster adds, “Can you really blame him for being a little hesitant?” 😊 On leash, 𝗞𝗮𝗶 is curious and loves to sniff every new scent—typical explorer behavior! He’s doing well and continues to improve with practice. He already knows basic commands like sit and stay (especially if there’s a treat involved!). 𝗞𝗮𝗶’s personality is just as lovable as his face—friendly, affectionate, and ready to curl up next to you on the couch after a day of exploring. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a gentle soul and a curious nose, 𝗞𝗮𝗶 might just be your perfect match. Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.)
