Story
We adopted Nola as a puppy when she was 2 months old. She will be 4 in April. Nola is a very sweet and intelligent dog. She is a quick learner and knows many of the basic commands. She is a mixed breed and we know from a DNA test she is primarily the breeds listed. Unfortunately, she has started to become aggressive towards the other dogs in our house. We are looking to rehome her to another environment where she can have a happier life. The ideal household would be one with no other pets. We do not have cats, so we do not know how she will act with them. With just our family of 4, she is perfectly fine! She has not had a lot of exposure to really young children, so we do not know if she will be nervous around them.

COME AND MEET ME... AND TAKE ME HOME THIS WEEKEND!! SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH - 10 am until 2 pm At End of the Leash in Hales Corners at 5430 S 108th St, Hales Corners 53130 Jasmine is an adorable 2 month old Catahoula mixed breed female puppy. She has a beautiful brown brindle coat and the cutest white markings! Jasmine found herself in a tough situation in rural Texas when she and her littermates were found on the side of the road. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and have her very own family. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should she not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 1/15/24 Dog Name: Tate Sex: Female Spay Status: Tate will not be spayed when she arrives in WI Breed Mix: One of her siblings that was adopted shared the DNA test results with us. The top 2 breeds were Catahoula and Husky, though there were more! Approximate DOB: 8/2/24 Neuter/Spay Status: Not yet spayed Litter: Devo Approximate Weight: 37 lbs Description: Tate and her siblings were found in a small rural town in poor condition. They were individual chained up and covered in fleas/ticks.    Since coming to Wisconsin, Tate has been potty trained and we're working on crate training her. She's such a good girl that loves to play with her foster doggo siblings and humans alike! For a puppy she's a very chill girl! She's very respectful of other dogs and responsive to them setting boundaries with her. Tate loves to play but also loves snuggling up by your side!   Could this sweet gal be right for your home?   Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. February 10, 2025, 10:11 pm

Story
If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/

Story
Meet Izzy Blu Age: Adult Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Catahoula Leopard mix Good with: kids and dogs (needs slow intro) House/crate trained: yes Special needs: Limited vision Izzy Blu is a cuddly pup who loves to be near her people. She greets those she loves with kisses and dancing feet every time they come home. This cozy pup spends much of the day lounging but her favorite thing is cuddling with her people. A close second favorite activity is going for a long walk. Izzy Blu loves being outside where she can show off her leash skills and get compliments from the neighbors on what a pretty dog she is! Izzy Blu has some vision impairment which doesn’t slow her down. She would benefit from a fenced yard so she can safely be active, especially at night. Izzy Blu is kid friendly and likes dogs, but needs a slow intro/a resident dog who can give her time to be comfortable in a new environment. This sweet pup is gentle with everyone in her family, so smart and learns things easily.
