WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎄✨ Meet Jingles — The Little Bell of Joy, Wiggles, and Wonder ✨🎄 At 5 years old and a festive 15 pounds, Jingles may be small, but this boy brings BIG cheer everywhere he goes. If happiness made a sound, it would be the tap-tap of his paws followed by nonstop tail jingles. He doesn’t just enter a room — he announces joy has arrived. Jingles is happy, bouncy, and delightfully goofy. He finds magic in water bowls, puddles, squeaky toys, and literally any moment that could possibly involve snacks (his favorite love language). Life is his playground, and he’s here to remind you not to take it too seriously. He’s house trained, crate-tolerant (though he’d prefer to be supervising all activities), and comes when called — especially if treats are involved. Snacks aren’t just motivation; they’re his muse. And that little missing piece on the side of his mouth? Just extra character. A built-in grin enhancer. A reminder that perfection is overrated and charm is everything. He eats, drinks, and smiles just fine — especially when the treat jar opens. 🐾 Jingles’ Greatest Hits: ✅ 5 years old — 15 lbs of pure joy and festive chaos ✅ Playful, social, and always in a good mood ✅ Great with other dogs ✅ Cats unknown, but likely fine with slow introductions ✅ House trained, crate tolerant, and great in the car ✅ Quiet, responsive, and sporting a recall that deserves applause ✅ Loves water, toys, and outdoor adventures ✅ Short legs, big heart, and a personality that jingles all the way Jingles may be pint-sized, but he’s ready to turn your life into a highlight reel of laughter, splashes, and cozy couch moments. If you’re looking for a dog who brings happiness, humor, and heart wherever he goes… ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org — and let Jingles jingle his way right into your home. 🐾💖

Story
History: Rufus is a handsome little fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi! I’m Rufus. I am a 20lb Cavapoo. I’m an absolute ladies man.. and when I say ladies, I really mean one lady.. my foster mom. I protect her from dogs on tv, my 11 y/o human brother and anyone else who comes near her. I’m all bark and no bite... I’m actually a little scared (and shy) but have to act tough. I am getting used to my foster dog sister who is 60lbs of fluff. I’m learning my boundaries with her and we get along pretty well. I’m entirely uninterested in my foster cat brother. Potty training is pretty easy.. I am very focused when we go out. Ive also had very few accidents. I do have to sleep in my kennel at night (in mom’s room) and it’s my least favorite. I just want to be by my mom so I whine until I realize she’s not letting me out until morning. (Or if she sees I actually need something). She let me out once and realized I’m not as good with my potty training skills when she’s sleeping and not paying attention. I would be the best boy in a quiet house. I get scared easy and don’t like loud noises. I also shouldn’t share walls with someone that isn’t in my family. I like to alert everyone by barking that I’d rather not be in the crate. My foster mom is home all day with me and I do so much better when she’s here. If you’re home during the day, I will be your best friend. From my foster mom: Rufus is loyal, very smart and curious, but easily startled and retreats to my room or his kennel when he is scared. He will require patience as he continues to gain confidence. I think he’d thrive with either a single person or retired couple who can be home with him during the day.

She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi I’m Toula! I’m so excited that you’re here! My foster mom tells me that I’m the sweetest girl ever. I LOVE to curl up on her lap and watch TV- especially if there’s other dogs on there! She also tells me that I’m such a good girl for going potty outside on our strict potty schedule she has me on, although I’m not too sure about the white fluffy stuff she calls snow. I think it may be too cold for my paws at times, but I’ll be sure to let you know if I’m too cold. I love my foster sister, she’s also a cavalier. Although I don’t like it when she gets too close to my food. My foster mom says I’m guarding my resources, but I think with some time and patience I can get over that! I actually love my kennel, and I sleep in there over night with no accidents and not a peep out of me!

History: Cullen is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Cullen is a sweet, happy pup whose tail never stops wagging! He loves attention and will gladly soak up all the pets you have to offer. This friendly guy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack. Cullen is working on his house training and doing great when given regular potty breaks. When he arrived at rescue, we discovered he only has four teeth—but don’t worry, that doesn’t slow him down! He eats just fine and is ready to enjoy all the tasty treats life has to offer. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, Cullen is your guy! Note: Cullen is scheduled to be neutered on January 7th and is eligible for our foster to adopt option.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Krystal is a gorgeous Japanese Chin with a silky coat, a princess attitude, and a talent for staking out every cozy pillow in the house like it’s her personal throne. She adores her chosen people with her whole heart. She melts into gentle pets, leans in for affection, and doles out the sweetest little kisses to the humans she considers family. Once she feels safe, she becomes a loyal, fluffy shadow who wants nothing more than to be loved and admired. Krystal is a curious explorer who insists on inspecting every corner of every room, and she’s bold enough to hop onto tables if she suspects snacks or interesting treasures might be hiding there. She loves freeze-dried alligator treats, blueberries, soft beds, and fluffy pillows. Outside, Krystal enjoys short walks and slow adventures, especially when she can sniff around like she’s reading the neighborhood gossip. She walks politely on leash, rides well in the car, and is fully potty trained with a good routine. She sleeps quietly in her crate overnight and will give only a brief “how dare you leave me” protest bark when crated during the day. Krystal is sweet, affectionate, smart, and eager to please, but she does have a little spicy streak! While she is deeply devoted to her chosen people, newcomers are scary for her and their arrival elicits alarm barks and grumbles. She's just trying to ask for some personal space until she feels safe! Krystal could share her home with (and even enjoy) the right male dog, but ideally she'd prefer to be someone's one and only to have the attention all to herself.  We promise her love and affection are worth the wait! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
Grenas (born approx 11/8/21) is my first cockapoo and apparently, they’re very sweet dogs. Grenas is an absolute love. He is shy and his favorite place for his first week with me was under my sofa. However, no matter how timid he feels, his tail is always wagging. It took a bit for him to not pull away when I moved to pet him. He doesn’t like hands coming at him from above in a way that makes me think he may have been abused. A woman who works outside collects strays she notices, and that’s how he came to NDLB. We don’t know anything about his history. The day I took him, I also took a little chi mix foster, Lourdes. They had never met before, but they were instant friends and have become best pals. They play, wrestle, snuggle and sometimes sleep together. Grenas loved Lourdes right away, while it took some time before he was totally comfortable with me. For this reason, I think he would do best in a home with another dog. I think a dog friend makes him feel more secure. He is mostly potty trained. The few accidents he’s had happened because I didn’t let him out in time. My schedule can be random and I expect with a set schedule he would have no accidents. I don’t crate because it doesn’t work well in my home, but he would like a crate if he doesn’t have another place to make a ‘den.’ (Under the sofa is his safe place here, but my sofa is raised on legs and easy to get under.) He is awesome in the car. Just lays down in the back seat the whole ride. He loves treats and is food motivated, which makes training easier. He couldn’t care less about his kibble and he grazes his meals. He was terribly matted when I got him and had to be shaved. The groomer said one shoulder was so matted he had some bruising! He won’t let me put a jacket on him yet and so I haven’t walked him much, but he’s fine with the leash. He will bark sometimes at stuff going on outside and he will snap at Lourdes if she plays too rough, but otherwise, he has zero aggression. I’ve not seen him with kids, but I’m positive he would be fine. He shouldn’t be in a home with rambunctious kids as that would make him nervous. I would not describe him as a ‘hardy’ dog even if he did live outside for a while. Once he’s comfortable, he loves pets and a little wrestling, but is never clingy or demanding. He sleeps with me at least part of the night. He is not really a lap dog. He got out once, and it took a minute or two to get him back in, but he didn’t go anywhere. My backyard is fenced so he is let out back freely. The only issue anyone could have with Grenas is his shyness. For anyone not wanting a social butterfly type of dog, he’s a total prize. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$525.00  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2025, 3:44 pm

Story
Age: DOB 3/9/25 Weight: 17lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes, with dog savvy cats Kid friendly: Unknown Potty trained: Almost! Crate trained: Yes REQUIRED: Physical fenced yard & another dog within the home Hi! I'm Frannie! The happiest and most joyful cocker spaniel you'll ever meet. I can't wait to meet my new family and become part of your lives forever. I'm still a puppy with an endless supply of puppy energy and love to give to my entire family. I love everything soft and snuggly: blankets, pillows, beds (human and dog), sweaters (do you know how cold it is in these MN winters???) and even more than all of that stuff, I love to snuggle and cuddle on the shoulder or in the lap of my humans. Chin and ear scratches are the BEST and sometimes they even make me fall asleep. Oh - and I love to give you puppy kisses, too. I hope you like puppy kisses - they're just one way I show you how much I love you!!! I'm a very good eater, too (food is awesome!!) I'm currently on the same schedule as my foster brother and sister, so I eat breakfast each morning around 6 a.m. and dinner is served promptly at 5 p.m. - or else my foster Mom is gonna hear about it from me and my foster siblings!! I also get these awesome things throughout the day called treats - and man are they yummy. Usually I get them every time I go outside and potty and whenever I "sit" - but if I had it my way, I'd have full access to that jar of treats all day long. They are soooo yummy. Speaking of potty training...my foster Mom says I am a super fast learner and have nearly mastered my potty training skills since coming to their family one week ago. It's super important that I have a routine and as long as my family and I stick to that routine, I am perfect (duh - does she know who she's talking about? I'm obviously perfect all the time!) I don't even mind my crate if my foster Mom and Dad have to leave for a while - after all, the big human house is a bit overwhelming for a young pup like me, so my crate makes me feel safe and with one of my stuffie toys and my blankets, I snuggle right in until they're back home. If you'll let me, I'd prefer to snuggle right next to you in your big bed at night, but I will also sleep in my kennel if needed. TOYS!!! Have we talked about toys yet?!?! I LOVE them. LOVE. THEM. Especially the stuffies with crinkle paper in them. They are the best and I will play with them with another dog or on my own. I like to stash my toys and will also steal my favorite human's socks, sweatshirts and slippers to add to my stash pile. I don't even chew on them - I just like to have them near me if I can't have my human nearby. I am so excited to meet my new family and am ready to open my heart and share all my love and joy with you. We're going to be the best team. **Frannie is still learning to walk on a leash and came to us very scared/skittish of a leash, so if her new family has a fully fenced backyard where she can run, play and potty safely while she continues her leash training that is ideal. She is still pretty skittish when the leash comes out and I'd hate to see her bolt unexpectedly if she was in a backyard without a fence while she's still learning.** Adoption fee: $695
