Story
Teddy was born on September 25, 2023, he is a shy but loving boy with kind eyes who thrives on attention and affection. He knows basic commands, is very food‑motivated, and loves toys/balls—especially Benebones. I acquired Teddy from a breeder in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He is an enthusiastic chewer and will need durable toys. He can be vocal at times and may bark when startled, confined, or excited by other dogs (usually to play). He may show some guarding behaviors and mild anxiety, but his vet believes he will do well with consistent behavior training and structure. He does best with clear boundaries and reassurance. He comes from a home with an energetic 6‑year‑old and enjoys running and playing. He does well alone for 2–4 hours and sleeps comfortably in his crate near his people at night. With patience, training, and love, he will make a wonderful companion.

Story
Snoopy is a goofy, energetic, and loving dog. He is full of personality and loves to play, run, and snuggle. He loves dogs, cats, chickens, kids, and people very much. He loves car rides with the window down. Snoopy is a big chewer, so tough toys or bones work best for him. He loves to fetch. Snoopy is amazing with kids. He snuggles with his little (human) brother all the time. Snoopy is crate trained and it is a safe place for him. He has a chew-proof bed that he loves. He will not potty in his crate. If you adopt Snoopy, we will provide his crate and bed, current food, and favorite toys. Snoopy would love lots of walks and playtime outside. At 6 months old, Snoopy had surgery on his belly and goes potty several times a day. He will let you know when he needs to go outside. Snoopy’s dog brother is a more aggressive dog, and he would prefer a home with kind pets that are gentle and playful.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Sugar, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was happy, friendly, outgoing and affectionate. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. My name is Pearl, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was friendly, calm and easy to hold. I was rescued from a puppy mill. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing.
