Hypoallergenic cavapoo (cavalier spaniel and poodle mix) needing to be rehomed. He is 20 pounds and will be three years old on July 1. He is very playful, energetic, loves to cuddle, and is a great walking partner. He would like an active household and home with a yard. He enjoys going for walks and playing with balls. He has a lot of energy. He completed basic training. He is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, come, down, stay, drop it, leave it. He is crate trained and enjoys being in his crate. He would do best in a home without children as he does have a history of growling and biting when resource guarding or when he wants to be left alone. He enjoys playing with other dogs so would do well in a home with dogs. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He has a sensitive stomach and is on a low fat diet (will provide current bag of his food and treats with rehoming). He must go to a loving home that will take great care of him.

Story
In 2019, we purchased Buddy from an Amish breeder in Pennsylvania. He has been a loving, great dog for our family for the past seven years. He has had no health issues but experiences a lot of anxiety living in the middle of Washington DC. He is very protective of his family and perceives other animals and visitors as a threat initially. He warms up quickly to new people, however, and is a snuggly, sweet, family dog. He lives with three kids and he is friends with all of their friends right now. Unfortunately, due to some major life changes we need to find a new home for Buddy. He is on anti-anxiety medication which he takes happily in cheese once a day. If in a quieter location, he may not need the medication. Buddy is playful and loving and content to chase squirrels all day and take long naps. he does require grooming every couple of months but does not shed at all.

Maple is a sweet, loving, and incredibly smart puppy who has brought so much joy into my life. She loves being around people, learns quickly, and has the kind of personality that makes everyone fall in love with her. She is curious, playful, affectionate, and still very much a baby who is figuring out the world around her. As difficult as this decision has been, I want to make sure Maple has the best life possible. She deserves someone who has the time, energy, and flexibility to give her the attention, training, and consistency that every young puppy needs.I'm looking for a home with someone who understands the commitment that comes with raising a puppy and is excited to help her continue learning and growing. Ideally, her new owner would have a flexible schedule or spend a lot of time at home, since she thrives with companionship and guidance throughout the day. Maple is truly a wonderful little dog with so much love to give, and my goal is simply to find the person/family who fits.

Story
Rick is a golden retriever hound pit mix who is very food motivated! He works outstanding with any dog he meets, he play with any dog of any size and temperament. He is protective of the family which means while in the home, he is wary of guests. He does not like to be pet directly on the head (stranger danger!) He loves to snuggle with family and he is very effectionate with children and babies. Though it may take some time for him to warm up to his new family! Hes loves to hiking, running, and general play! Due to some personal matters and our first baby we are unable to give him the quality time and play he needs. Minnie is ~5 years old, 25 lbs, female, black and tan patterdale terrier/beagle mix (best guess). She is a sweet and friendly gal who loves to get attention from humans! Everyone she meets adores her. While she is a tripod, she does not let that hold her back, she can be energetic & playful & loves playing in the yard. After a walk, Minnie settles down for a nice nap or a cuddle in your lap. She has done well with cats in her home. She is up-to-date on vaccines, crate trained, house trained. Minnie was found by animal control in NC with a leg injury. The shelter made an urgent plea to save her life.
