I’m Skedaddle, but my friends call me Skeet or Skeeter. I’m a handsome Poodle-Schnauzer mix with a sweet, easygoing personality. I’m the kind of guy who likes to go along and get along, whether that means hanging out with other dogs or relaxing with my favorite people. I’m currently searching for my forever home. While I’m a friendly pup, I can be a little unsure of myself and tend to stick close to my foster mom. New people can seem a bit scary at first, so I’m looking for a patient family that will help me build confidence and show me that the world is a safe and fun place. My past is mostly a mystery. I was found tied to a flagpole with my “brother,” Scamper, and no one knows much about our life before then. What I do know is that I’m ready for a fresh start. Training and positive experiences will help me learn new skills, gain confidence, and create a strong bond with my new family. The good news? I’m very treat-motivated, so I’m eager to learn—especially if snacks are involved! I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy having canine friends to play and hang out with. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just needs a little guidance and encouragement to shine, I might be the perfect match for you. Could my next adventure be with you? From Foster Mom: an ideal home would be one that really sees Skeet, not just his happy-go-lucky outer persona. He needs human socialization and life experiences to gain some confidence. She adores being where her people are and will happily follow you around to stay part of the action. She seems especially fascinated by water—give her a hose on a warm day, and you'll likely have one happy dog on your hands! Capri also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and can do well with dog-savvy cats when given slow introductions.
