Story
Meet Kaia! Kaia was found as a stray. She was taken to Arizona Humane due to a growth in her ear. After assessing Arizona Humane felt they could not take on her medical. Well, we had no problem helping her! Kaia was picked up and taken to her foster home. She needed to see a vet ASAP! We needed to know what to do for her ear and we noticed the other ear was also infected. After getting some antibiotics and pain medication we set up a time to get her ear looked at. She would need to be sedated for this. She would not let anyone near her ears. This didn't happen overnight. This was years of ear infections that went untreated. Kaia had a procedure that removed her entire ear canal and her ear. This was the only way we could stop the infections. It was a tough recovery. She wouldn't take her medication and because there was already infection in her ear she struggled. Two doctors visits and a stay at the emergency vet FINALLY fixed this little lady! Well we thought we were all done! Kaia's other ear started acting up just as she finished healing. We scheduled her for another procedure. She is now had both ears done. The good news is she will never have another ear infection. She is now hearing impaired. She can hear some tones but that is it. They also removed her ears. Kaia doesn't let that stop her! She is moving on and feeling good! She is a total love bug! She likes to chew on her bones. Chill in her dog bed and watch a little TV with her foster parents. She walks on a leash. She is good with other dogs and cats. She actually loves to play with cat toys HA HA! She is such a good dog! Kaia spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Kaia is approximately 4 years old and weigh 48 pounds.

Story
Itachi is a Labrador (His father is a black Labrador retriever and his mother is Labrador retriever and Doberman) he just turned 3 years old in May. I unfortunately am needing to rehome him as my job requires a lot of travel and we are outside of the house more than we are home. He is a chill, smart, and wonderful dog. He is house-trained, and listens well to commands. He has never been destructive. He LOVES to run, and play fetch. He is absolutely amazing with kids. I would love for him to go to a great home where he will be able to have more time for him. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting Itachi. He is up to date with his vaccinations and I will provide his kennel, leash, bowls, toys, and harness for him.

Story
Milo is a 5-year-old rescue who has been an amazing part of our family. He was rescued and has grown into a loving, loyal, and well-mannered dog. He is fully potty trained, great with kids, and gets along very well with other dogs. He has an active and energetic personality and loves to stay busy, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or spending time with his people. He’s affectionate, smart, and thrives in an environment where he can get regular exercise and attention. We’re looking for a new home that can match his energy ideally an active individual or family who has the time and space to keep him engaged and loved. He would do great in a home with kids and/or other dogs and would make a wonderful, loyal companion.

Story
last year i took layla to my college apartment when she could no longer live at my familys house. I was fresh off a huge breakup and she literally saved me. having her in a freshly solo apartment felt like having another person there. she is truly an amazing dog and i hate that school makes it so i cant take care of her anymore. layla is 6 years old, layla LOVES to chew on toys, loves the milk bones but again will eat anything, she always wants to play and LOVES water she can swim very well, she has a little separation anxiety and will follow you around everywhere! ok with any food but used purina and lots of steak/chicken looking for someone with lots of room for her and can take her places. anyone adventurous would be great because she can swim jump run anything! again would recommend a single dog household, but could be just fine with an older dog already living there! younger kids would be ok too, she loves to play with humans!! i can deliver her anywhere in AZ or SoCal!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BELLE is available! Belle is a very tall 3 to 4-yr-old spayed Pyrenees mix. She is  playful, affectionate and friendly with people and dogs, but will chase cats, although she has not hurt them. Belle loves children, but she is so tall and boisterous that she could accidentally knock over a small child. Belle is strong but walks well on a Sidekick leash. She has been to many public events and adores meeting people and shaking hands; she is very sociable. Belle loves to bark, dig, and bury her bones and toys in the backyard, so a dog door or unsupervised yard access is not a good idea. Belle does not like to be crated, but she will tolerate gates and a large play yard set-up if needed, but she is great in the house and does not get in any trouble. She requires a 6-ft wall and a good-sized yard. Belle needs exercise to work off some of her enthusiasm - leash walking will not be enough. She loves to play with other dogs, and has spent quality time in foster care where she has gotten along very well with multiple big dogs. She does love to roughhouse - small, elderly or frail dogs are not a good match for her. We would want a meet and greet prior to adoption to assure compatibility with any resident dogs. She loves to cuddle in bed, so Belle would appreciate home with a king-sized bed and affectionate owner to share it with, but can also sleep in her own bed on the floor.  If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here.  Note:   WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BEAR is available! Bear is a 2-year-old male Golden Retriever mix who has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccines. He is a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and PLAY!  Bear is also very smart and learns quickly.  He will need some leash training, as he pulls.  He greets dogs well, seems fine with cats, but is afraid of pigs! We are unsure what breed Bear might be mixed with, but Bear is a BIG boy, so no small children nor frail elderly people. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MILEY is available! 25-028 Miley is a 2-year-old spayed female Golden Doodle. She is playful, goofy, loving, and high energy. She loves to run and will knock a small child over running by them, so no young children nor frail elderly. She is very smart and knows how to ring bells hanging by the door when she wants to go outside.  Miley loves attention from people but lacks socialization. She would do best as the only dog in a home with no other other dogs and cats. Miley is currently on fluoxetine and we are unsure if this might be a long-term medication. If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here.  Note:   WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA.
