HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Hello there! I'm Chance, a 2-year-old female lab mix, and this is the chance of a lifetime to find my forever home! I'm so excited you clicked on my bio because now I get to tell you all about myself. First and foremost, I want you to know that I absolutely love my people, and I mean, LOVE them! I'm a big fan of snuggles, but I'm also content just hanging out near my humans while they go about their day. Now, let's talk about my favorite things to do – playing fetch with my awesome super-indestructible ball is pure bliss! I can also spend hours chasing after water as it sprays from the hose, and going for a walk (or run) around the neighborhood park makes my tail wag with excitement! I've been staying with a foster family, and they have nothing but great things to say about me! I'm well-mannered at mealtime, sitting politely before I eat, and I'm completely respectful around food, whether it's with people or other dogs. I'm house trained and kennel trained, and I know all my basic commands. Leash walks are a breeze for me – I walk like a pro! If you have other dogs, that's fantastic news because I absolutely love playing with my furry friends! Oh, and car rides? No problem at all! I'm the best passenger – I lay down calmly in the back and enjoy the ride without getting car sick. My confidence grows every day, and I'm incredibly eager to please. I'm up to date on my vaccines, spayed, and microchipped, and I promise to be the most loving and loyal companion you could ever ask for. If you give me a chance, let's meet face-to-face soon – we can go for a walk together and see if we're a perfect match! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1420598##

Story
Hi! I'm Coral! I have been in Colorado for 5 months now, so not exactly a "NATIVE" as you all like to brag about, but I am a Colorado girl at heart waiting patiently for my perfect furrever home!  At 1 years young, I'm a medium build, athletic girl that loves to be outside in the fresh air exploring. Perhaps we could be hiking or running buddies? My day job is wrestling with my foster brother. You could call me his personal trainer. Aside from that, some of my favorite hobbies include fetch (also known sometimes as "keep away," a VERY fun game), chewing bones, and defending my yard against those pesky squirrels. I also love a good game of tug-of-war! Sorry, but you likely will never win because I can dangle in the air by my teeth like a Cirqué du Soleil acrobat. I'm basically the perfect package – big dog attitude and athleticism packaged tightly in a compact 35 lbs! I'm extremely limber and agile, and occasionally practice parkour using the couch, to provide entertainment and keep myself in shape. I usually get quite a laugh out of the humans when I show off my stunts and antics.  When I'm not wrestling with my foster brother, I can usually be found lounging next to the aforementioned humans and following them around. Humble brag alert: I have the softest velveteen ears and a shiny, healthy ebony coat with tuxedo markings on my chest. I've also been developing some very sophisticated highlights recently. So, I'm all dressed up and ready to get ear rubs and be paraded around town like the beauty I am.  I'm not a picky eater, and I take treats very gently and eat well alongside my foster brother (the furry one, of course!). I even do chores! I'll politely insist on helping you load and pre-wash dishes in the dishwasher. How many other housemates can honestly boast that?!  Need help saving that precious Colorado water? Don't worry, I love to help you clean and prepare the yogurt cups and peanut butter jars for recycling–no water needed! I also am very comfortable in my kennel; I'll even go inside it on my own sometimes for a comfy snooze. I certainly have a lot of strengths, but if I had to name a weakness, it might be my excitement . Most humans find it endearing, but I might be a little bit much for the smaller kiddos, as I'm still working on keeping four paws on the floor. When I'm REALLY excited or have love I want to share with you, I sometimes jump up and stand on my back legs. I'm just medium sized, so I don't quite understand why I can't get a better view of things by standing upright and getting closer to you, but I've been working hard to "sit nice" in order to get my pets. And I do calm down pretty quickly. So, my ideal family would probably be one with older kids that enjoy a bit more exuberant play, and won't get upset if I forget my manners since I'm still a puppy at heart. I have three human kids in my foster family, so the bonus is that I am used to lots of activity and lots of their friends coming and going. And good news–I haven't met anyone I didn't like!  I got pretty sad and upset and cried when my furry brother had to leave me at home. So, I might really like to have another furry sibling–just make sure it's one that likes to wrestle, because I do enjoy a good throwdown!  TBH, sometimes I'm also a little eager on my leash, but it's just because I'm so excited to be outside in sunny Colorado. Can you really blame me? The humans say I'm doing a good job learning to heel, though, so I guess that's another checkmark in the *awesome* category for me!  My foster human family hasn't figured out why I got named Coral, but maybe it's because I'm part sea lion? My favorite wrestling moves involve repeatedly dive rolling and somersaulting under my furry brother, like a sea lion escaping a shark. Or, maybe it's because I roll on my back and hold my toys in my paws up in the air like an otter? They also think I might be part cat, as I do enjoy a good perch from which to sneak attack or pounce on my toys or playmates. I might also be part frog? I lay with my back legs like a froggo doggo all the time, which I've been told is REALLY adorbs . Either way, my papers have me listed as a lab mix. What EXACTLY I'm mixed with is an inter-species mystery just waiting for a DNA test. Come meet me and I can show you how incredible of a mix I really am, regardless of my species! I'll be pleased to meet you! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1850826##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Hi there pals! I'm Jessie, but most of the time, my foster parents call me Bean Bean. Yep, that's my special nickname, and I wear it with pride. I'm a 10-year-old girl, and I've got some credentials to brag about – I'm all up to date on my vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Pretty cool, right? Now, let me tell you about my favorite things to do. I'm a bundle of energy, and I absolutely love going on walks, riding skateboards, and hiking with my humans. But let's not forget my other hobbies – napping is an art form, and I've mastered it. When I'm not out and about, I enjoy some good old-fashioned snooze time. I've got some impressive strengths too. I'm a pro on a leash, and you can count on me to sit, shake paws, show off my good house manners, and lay down on command. If you need a buddy who's got it together, I'm your gal! But, I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm a bit of an alpha woman, and I can't resist a tasty treat. Who can blame me? Treats are the best! I'm super friendly and get along great with kids, and with a proper introduction, I can even make friends with other dogs and cats. So, if you're looking for a furry friend to join your family and bring some extra love and joy into your home, look no further. I'm here, ready to spread smiles, snuggles, and tail wags. Hi I'm Reflection! My foster parents call me Belle cause of my big Disney dog eyes and yellow collar :) I was born around the new year and am about 20 lb at 3 months. I'm probably a lab mix. I'm on the independent side, but still appreciate a good snuggle (especially when I get sleepy, then I LOVE to be in your lap!). I adore toys, and always want to take one with me whenever I go outside. I love to play with my siblings, too! I usually flop on my back when you come over to me in case you want to give a tummy rub--those are the best! I'm doing pretty well with potty training. I already know how to sit and am getting good about sitting instead of jumping up on people, though sometimes I get too excited and forget that part. I really like treats though and am a quick learner. Will you be my forever?  Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hello out there! My name is Refraction, but my foster parents call me Billy Blue (or sometimes even Boo!). I was born around the new year and am about 20 lb at 3 months. I'm probably a lab mix. My foster mom says I'm a super love bug. I really do like snuggles and hugs, especially when I get sleepy. Then I'll plop into your lap and lean against you to get a good hug in! I also really like to give kisses. I'm super playful and am always running, or wrestling with a sibling, or playing with toys. Toys are the best! I'm doing pretty well with potty training. I already know how to sit and am getting good about sitting instead of jumping up on people, though sometimes I get too excited and forget that part. I really like treats though and am a quick learner. I even do pretty well about not nibbling too hard! Overall I'm a super loving, playful pup that will make a great addition to anyone's home! HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Howdy, folks! I'm Ciabatta, and even though they say I'm 8 years old, I'll have you convinced I'm just a spry 6-year-old at heart. I may be low to moderate in the energy department, but boy, do I get excited when it's mealtime—I'm all paws off the floor, ready to chow down! My life hasn't always been easy; I've had my share of street living, which left me with some scars and bare patches on my skin. But my foster mom has been spoiling me with good food and soothing coconut oil massages. I've been gaining some much-needed weight since I arrived in Colorado. I'm a sweetheart who adores giving sweet kisses to my human foster siblings and having a blast playing with my four-legged foster sister. Antlers are my chew-time favorites, and I can't resist swiping dryer wool balls from the laundry room. Good news on the manners front—I'm potty trained and have the basics down, though a bit of fine-tuning wouldn't hurt. When it's time for crate relaxation, I'm on board, especially if there's cheese involved. I'm a big fan of my human companions and will follow them everywhere, even into the bathroom! I'd love to find a family that enjoys a somewhat active lifestyle but also appreciates lazy days. While I haven't tried water sports (and baths aren't my thing), I might just be the perfect companion for beer garden outings or low-key camping trips. I'm all about leisurely sniffing walks that match my pace. Rest assured, I'm up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and will receive heartworm treatment at the rescue's expense. If you're ready to add some warmth and charm to your life, apply to meet me today. Let's make memories together! Story
Introducing Teddy, a gentle soul with a heart of gold...just waiting to be discovered! A two year old, Golden Retriever Mix, Teddy has a smile as big as Texas and he can't wait to share in all the joys of life with you!  Teddy embodies what the plight of a rescue dog is all about.  When Teddy first arrived to the rescue, he was prone to bouts of uncertainty and some fearfulness.  But this sweet boy has reinforced for all that have (now) met him, how a previously unwanted animal can flourish into a delightful companion with patience and love!  Teddy adores human company, loving to cozy up to his favorite people. Teddy also generally enjoys the company of other dogs (particularly his friend, Susi).  When faced with confrontation from other dogs during play group, but he is easily redirected with gentle, verbal corrections.  Through consistent training and positive reinforcement, Teddy is now fully crate trained and can now be comfortably crated (in the event his new family works outside the home) for reasonable periods, including overnights, without any issues.  Teddy has excelled in basic obedience training, having learned basic commands and wonderful leash manners.  He often shows his soft underbelly through his eagerness to please; positive reinforcement is really all that this boy needs to show you how smart he is and is the key to his continued growth (Teddy can get his feelings hurt with stern verbal correction)! Teddy's ideal home is one filled with love and affection, where he can bask in human interaction and cuddles. He has shown good behavior around small(er) children, enjoying gentle play.  A person or family. willing to make ample time to provide him attention and postive reinforcement, will undoubtedly bring Teddy and those in his new home, boundless joy! Teddy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and has recently completed heartworm treatment.  Teddy is now good as new and ready to find his forever home! Story
Meet Zeus! This sweet boy came to us from Oklahoma where he sat for too long waiting for his forever home. He's some type of retriever mix, about 1 year old, neutered and fully up to date on vaccinations and ready for his amazing forever Colorado home. Zeus is a very active and high energy dog, who would love to be a running or hiking buddy, or a family that will walk him regularly. Zeus likes to spend his free time napping, chewing on toys and sticks, and chasing squirrels and bunnies in the yard. Because Zeus is large and has a high prey drive, he would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. Zeus is a resource and territory guarder, and is dog selective, so he would need slow introductions and may not do well with another dominant dog. Zeus has lived with adults only, and is not child tested. Zeus wants to be where his people are, and would love a forever home where he would not be left alone all day and has a yard of his own to run and play in. Apply for Zeus online at www.lolasrescue.com ##1602400##
