Story
Meet Emilia Fontana, a lovable 3-year-old large dog. Emilia is a playful and energetic companion who thoroughly enjoys playtime. However, she tends to play rough and may be too much for smaller children and small animals. Emilia is accustomed to sleeping in her crate but also loves sharing a bed with her humans. She is a loyal and protective dog, always looking out for her home and the people she cares about. To provide Emilia with a safe environment, a fenced yard is essential. This will give her the space she needs to roam, play, and explore while minimizing the risk of wandering off. Emilia's new family should be prepared to invest time and effort into her training. Obedience training can help refine her manners and reinforce basic commands. By establishing consistent boundaries and positive reinforcement, Emilia will continue to grow into a well-behaved and happy companion. Story
Crane is a sweet, energetic, 5-year-old, lab mix. This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane is quite excitable when meeting other dogs. So, he would be best romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of dog parks or doggy daycare.  Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          April 24, 2024, 3:38 am

Story
If you are looking for a calm, gentle laid back dog for companionship. Cylana is the one for you.  Cylana is the sweetest girl, and she is incredibly well behaved and calm in the home.  Her favorite thing is hanging out and chilling with her people. However, she does love walks and walks very nicely on her leash. So if you are looking for a walking partner, Cylana is ready.   Cylana is a  10- year - old,  60-pound Labrador mix - and don't you think her cute ears look a little like a Shar-pei?  Cylana  is completely house trained and crate trained, but she doesn't need a crate when left out. This stunning regal girl would love a fairly quiet home where she doesn't need to share her toys or your attention with other animals or children. Sometimes, you just want to chill out and enjoy some peace.   So what do you say?  Ready to meet Cylana?       Apply to adopt me at www. angelsrescue.org/adopt and search for me, Cylana!     Sallie Brown, although no relation to Charlie, does share some things in common with his sister, Sally Brown (besides just her name!)   Like Sally Brown, Sallie is good-hearted, cute, loyal, and sweet. She is about 9 years old and 45 pounds. Great medium-sized dog! Sallie Brown loves a car ride or a nice walk. She’s very food-motivated and smart. Story
Hi! My name is Irvin and I am about the sweetest boy there ever was. I'm a black lab mix and I weigh about 70 pounds. They think I'm 6 years old. For a while I had to hang out in this thing called a shelter, and while I was there, they had me meet all the new doggies coming in. They said I was so good I was their "temperament tester," whatever that means. All I know is I just love everyone and always want a human or a dog nearby. My foster mom says my name should be Shadow because I just follow her around everywhere. I love living inside a house! It's warm and I feel safe. I don't like that crate they make me sleep in sometimes because it reminds me of my sad time in the shelter, but I will go in if you bribe me with treats! I'll bark for a bit if I am left alone. I eventually just settle in and wait for foster mom to come back, but since I can be a bit of a loudmouth, I probably shouldn't live in an apartment. I live with some cats right now, but I'm not very interested in them and just let them do their thing. I have made some new doggie friends at my foster home and would be great with just about any dog, but I am also fine to just live with a human and no other dogs. Big bonus if I can sit on the sofa with you (but foster mom doesn't allow that and that's okay too as long as you give me lots of love). I'm pretty good on a leash, but also love a fenced in yard so I can explore. I've learned very quickly that I always go outside to go potty. One other thing, once I became an Angel, they took me to a vet and they said I have this thing called heart worms. Gross! I am doing great so far and they said I just have to get a few shots and lay low for a bit. The good news is you can go ahead and adopt me if you do it soon! The rescue will let me go ahead to my furever home before I get my first shot and still pay for the rest of the treatment. I'm a pretty easy patient, the only thing you have to remember during my treatment is to keep me calm, but I'm a pretty calm boy anyway! Story
Mustang loves people. He cannot get enough attention from everyone. He is the definition of a velcro dog. He is always ready to go on a car ride and if you’re not careful, will jump in someone else’s car. He is particularly fond of pick-up trucks. If a car is involved, he is always thinking “Where are WE going?”   Mustang loves toys, chews, and balls. Soft toys will be gutted within 2 minutes, but he will love those 2 minutes and continue to play with the toy. He enjoys running around by himself or with other dogs, chasing balls and not bringing them back and has the energy and good nature of a lab.   Mustang is a happy-go-lucky boy, and he will do well with doggy siblings his size or not too much smaller, or he can be a solo doggo. He is a bit unaware of his size (70lbs). He will not do well living with a cat. He does have barrier reactivity to other reactive dogs, that needs to be worked through. He is highly food motivated, so training with consistency will be very successful.    He loves blankets! It is not uncommon to see him joyously wriggling around with a blanket he wrapped himself in, or walking around with a blanket over his head. Blankets are his Disney World!   He has a great appetite and has no issues with any foods or treats. He is very healthy and does not have a history of any medical issues.    He is easy to love, low maintenance, and Mustang has a huge heart. He knows the secret to life is to love and be loved.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. Story
Hi, I'm Sammie! Now what to say about me... Oh, I'm a mother to my beautiful pups who are off doing incredible things with their new families! As for me, I'm with a foster parent. I live with another dog who is teaching me how to be a real dog (that sort of mentorship is a MUST in my furever home) and I also live with my foster's kids and I absolutely adore them all. Though, I do sometimes struggle with loud noises. When I was pregnant I spent some time in a very scary shelter that kept me on a chain for long periods of time. This causes me to be a little jumpy so I hope to find a yard that can keep me contained. I am so grateful to have been rescued, and incredibly excited to find the loving home I know is out there for me! FOLLOW @twotailzrescue on Instagram and Facebook

Sweet Olaf was rescued as a stray off the streets of Atlanta. He was dumped in an area where a lot of dogs are found, and we were able to trap and save him!!! He's the sweetest, most gentle dog ever!! He's great with other dogs and people. Has not been tested with kids yet but seems like he'd do great. He's about 3 years old, and is a lab mix.
