Story
A SWEET, ACTIVE & PLAYFUL GUY:  Approx. 6 years / Approx. 40 lbs.   Hello, I’m Alex!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am so grateful that they have taken me into their program so I can find a new family to love and be loved by!  I was adopted for a few weeks, but they realized I needed more exercise than they could provide.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program and had a blast!  Now I’m ready to find my furever family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I’ve met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them a lot, so if you have a very playful dog at home who would like a buddy, let’s meet!  My trainer thinks that I’d benefit from having a dog playmate in my new home to help me burn off some energy and pal around with, especially when you aren’t home. / Cats unknown. / I met nice kids around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and liked them as well as in a home I visited! When we played, I was a little mouthy and jumpy, so a home with kids ages 10 and up could be a good fit for me, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a super sweet and affectionate fellow with a very active nature who wants to be very active with my family!  I’m a real people dog and have great focus – which is wonderful for my continued training.  I am a masterful high jumper, so best not to leave me unattended in a yard.  Perhaps we can learn agility together for fun!  I heard one of the volunteers say that I’m a happy and goofy boy . . . his 11-year-old son even specifically requested to take me out for a second day trip . . . sounds like a ringing endorsement to me! I’m showing some separation anxiety so I’d love a family member who is home a lot, perhaps a stay-at-home or work-from-home person that I could hang out with and be active with too.  I think I’d also be a good candidate for doggie daycare which sounds fun to me! / My energy level is very high at 9-10 so I need regular exercise please.        • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and in the prison/foster training program for 3 – 4 hours at a time, but I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in a crate. / My potty manners have been good at MM’s and on the prison/foster training program schedule too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like toys (especially tennis balls and stuffed toys) and love to play, so I look forward to lots of play sessions with you.  A fenced yard would be great in my new home, but I may dig, so – as mentioned above, don’t leave me there unattended.  I like to splash in my water pail so maybe I’m a water dog in the making, lol.  I enjoy getting affection and will reward you with nice kisses.  I also enjoy walks, so let’s go lots of places together and of course be active! / Other than what’s mentioned above I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I’m current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I’ve started 2 medications for some separation anxiety and not getting as much exercise as I need, and they are helping! So just ask for more information about that.  I am looking for a home where my family will be active with me, and we’ll have lots of fun! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 5, 2024, 12:19 pm

Story
Crane is a sweet, energetic, 5-year-old, lab mix. This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane is quite excitable when meeting other dogs. So, he would be best romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of dog parks or doggy daycare.  Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          May 7, 2024, 5:18 pm

Story
If you are looking for a calm, gentle laid back dog for companionship. Cylana is the one for you.  Cylana is the sweetest girl, and she is incredibly well behaved and calm in the home.  Her favorite thing is hanging out and chilling with her people. However, she does love walks and walks very nicely on her leash. So if you are looking for a walking partner, Cylana is ready.   Cylana is a  10- year - old,  60-pound Labrador mix - and don't you think her cute ears look a little like a Shar-pei?  Cylana  is completely house trained and crate trained, but she doesn't need a crate when left out. This stunning regal girl would love a fairly quiet home where she doesn't need to share her toys or your attention with other animals or children. Sometimes, you just want to chill out and enjoy some peace.   So what do you say?  Ready to meet Cylana?       Apply to adopt me at www. angelsrescue.org/adopt and search for me, Cylana! Story
Sallie Brown, although no relation to Charlie, does share some things in common with his sister, Sally Brown (besides just her name!)   Like Sally Brown, Sallie is good-hearted, cute, loyal, and sweet. She is about 9 years old and 45 pounds. Great medium-sized dog! Sallie Brown loves a car ride or a nice walk. She’s very food-motivated and smart. She loves daily physical and mental exercise to keep her body in shape and her mind sharp!    Sallie Brown is house-trained and crate trained.
