Story
Pinky is a tiny and adorable boy who lived on the streets with his 4 siblings, of which only 3 survived after a dog attack. He and his siblings managed to take shelter and with a report from a neighbor we were able to find and rescue them. 4.5 pounds of pure love and sweetness, a sweethearth boy. Despite his size he is a brave baby, and he wins your heart with those giant eyes in that little face. He loves to play with toys even if they are too big for him, and he does big jumps at your side while you walk at normal speed, lol. Pinky steals a smile every time you look at him, he really is so cute. He stands on two hind legs to ask you for food or cuddles. He lives well with other dogs and cats, and is not usually shy with people. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. Story
This little boy was in the street with his 4 siblings, and one of them was attacked by dogs and did not survive. Fortunately we were able to find the 3 of them before it was too late, and Kuzco is now ready for his new home! He is a funny, adorable, small and too cute dog. Those beautiful eyes steal your soul, and it's so hard to get mad at him. He loves to play with other dogs, sometimes he forgets his size and thinks he can play with big dogs and be at their level, haha. He won't grow much, he will be small, his dad weighs no more than 12 pounds. In her foster home Dayze enjoys bedtime where she is permitted to dive under the blankets to snuggle close.  Dayze loves her soft squeaky toys and will carry them around the house.  She is currently living with another dog which has helped Dayze to build confidence.  Dayze would do best with someone who works from home.  She tends to howl loudly when crated however she is not destructive and a perfect little lady when not crated.  Dayze rarely barks at home and quickly quiets down when told. She needs someone who is caring and patient to work through her shyness.    Dayze had quite the adventure before arriving at her current foster home. She is easily startled with a strong instinct to run when frightened, making her a flight  risk .  Dayze’s new owner will need to be diligent to keep her safe by using a martingale collar and firmly holding her leash.  Dayze should never be off leash in an open environment and always tethered when driving in a car.   Dayze loves to go for walks and is working on leash walking. She will need more practice when approached by other dogs.  Dayze is potty trained.   If interested in adopting this amazing little dog, introductions will be coordinated with the current foster. Overall, Dayze is so worth the effort to get to know and build her trust.  She is a sweet girl who is easy to fall in love with and she will love you back.  She is spayed, microchipped and is current with her vaccinations.  Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.
