Story
Meet Rue, our 4 1/2 year old Chihuahua. Sadly we are looking to rehome him to a furever home. He has been with us since birth and has always done amazing with our son who is now 11. This past year we had a baby and she has proven to be too much for him. As you can see he is the biggest cuddler and would live under you if he could. He is crate trained, very loving to his owners, he does not do well with other dogs big and small alike. He doesn’t care to use the bathroom on a leash, we typically let him out in the backyard and he does his business and comes back. He would do great in a home with children that aren’t infants. He is neutered and microchipped and would come with all his essentials. He does have high anxiety when it comes to getting his nails clipped(we take him to lucky puppy nail specialist and he’s slowly been adapting). Free to a good home, we just want to know he will be loved as much as we loved him.

Story
ADOPT ME Kima is doing really well in foster care. She is spayed and UTD on vetting. She loves spending time with her foster mom's other small dogs, and she loves to get attention. We have not seen any aggression from her at all, but she does like to boss around one of her foster siblings (but is very submissive to the one dog who doesn't like her shenanigans).  Kima is mostly good with the cats, but if they start to run, she will chase them. We are working on leash training and potty training. Right now she is still extremely terrified of the leash. She would do best in a home with at least one more small dog. After living her whole life in a pen with 35 other dogs, she seems to really appreciate the company of other dogs. ‍  She is estimated to be around 2 years old and she is around 8 lbs. Since this is the first time she has lived inside, she is exploring everything, and does like to chew up things she gets (and she gets everything!). Someone who enjoys a happy little dog with puppy energy would be perfect for Kima. If you’re interested in adopting Kima, please fill out an application at animalluvrs.org. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org. ##1960017##

Our foster says Willow is so very sweet and such a loving puppy. Willow is great with all of our fosters dogs and cats in the household. He said Willow is so beautiful and very puppy like being so young. Willow is very well behaved and learning housetrained So expect accidents as she is not 100% houustrained yet but almost. Willow is a scaredy cat and is quite timid at first. She has come out of her shell but is a timid dog. It took almost 2 weeks for her to decompress Once she does she is so sweet.
