Sid is seeking a cozy bed to lay on and watch the world go by. He is housebroken - crate trained - walks well on a leash. He would love a nice, quiet place to relax and call home and a best friend. Sid does get along well with other dogs - he doesn't play but enjoys their company. He does like to lay his head on a soft toy.

Story
Lumi & Casper have been with us for about a month after being dumped in a forest and trapped by park rangers. Lumi was still full of milk, clearly separated from her puppies. Casper appears to be her identical twin and constant comfort. These two are adorable 1-year-old Parsons Jack Russell Terrier mixes, weighing about 16–20 lbs. They are very scared of people and will need time, patience, and a gentle home — but they will come around. Casper is playful and eager to trust, with so much potential. Lumi is more fearful and relies heavily on him, following his lead and avoiding human touch for now. Together, they build confidence little by little. Recently, they’ve discovered toys and absolutely love them, which has been a joy to watch. They also adore the female Jack Russell in their foster home. Because of holiday travel, they’ve been bounced between short-term fosters and boarding and desperately need a stable, quiet place to land. Their ideal home: • Adult-only, calm household • Secure, solid 5–6’ fenced yard • No children or teens (quick movements and doors are too risky) • Fine with 1–2 small dogs their size or smaller — or just each other They are crate trained, house trained, and feel safest in their crates. While they aren’t comfortable with hands yet and must stay leashed outside, they follow their people indoors, watch closely, and are wonderfully curious. Trust will come with consistency and kindness. Foster: www.love4pawsfl.org/foster *A trial foster home must be within an hour of Tampa or Sarasota Adoption: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt *Adoption can be anywhere in Florida They are currently in Land O Lakes and are bonded/must stay together. Adoption is also an option, but fostering would be a beautiful first step. 💙

Story
Meet Krackel, Cadbury & Lindor 🍫💛 These three sweet souls are part of a group of 10 small dogs we recently rescued from a heartbreaking situation. They spent their early lives confined to crates under a carport and inside a metal shed, with very little human interaction and no experience with leashes or life indoors. Because of that, the world is still a little scary—but their hearts are very much open. Krackel (the tiniest scruffy girl) weighs just 9 lbs, while Cadbury (a taller gray scruffy girl) and Lindor (a white and tan scruffy boy) are each about 12 lbs. All three are right around a year old. Though timid at first, they want to trust. They gently approach for affection, happily accept treats, and show us every day that they’re ready to keep learning—at their pace. They are sweet, sensitive dogs who will thrive in calm, patient homes with people willing to let trust grow naturally. Once they feel safe, their affection is incredibly rewarding 💕 Their ideal home: - No young children (they’re not aggressive—just scared of loud, fast movements) - Ability to safely crate them if young kids visit - Another friendly dog to help build confidence - A quiet, secure environment - A solid fenced yard is strongly preferred - Krackel & Lindor may do okay in an apartment or townhome with very secure leash routines - Cadbury is the most fearful and truly needs a calm home with a fenced yard They are all: ✔️ Spayed/neutered ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Heartworm negative 📍 Located in Sarasota, FL 💲 Adoption fee: $350 each These little ones have been through so much, but they are ready to write a new chapter—with their people and new dog besties. If you believe love, patience, and consistency can change a life (or three), they’d love to meet you. Application: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
Hen is a lovely girl that was in a confiscation situation. We have had her in the rescue for a year!!! She has come a LONG way and is doing great!!! She LOVES other dogs, plays well with them and once she knows you she is super affectionate. I think she will always have a cautious streak in her, from her past, but she is brave and manages to overcome her blocks!! It took us three months for her to come out of her crate and come willingly to us. Now once she knows you she wants to be with you all the time! She still is not wild about being picked up, but she does tolerate it. Totally housebroke, crate trained and yes we are still working on the leash. But it is only going forward. She is a funny girl. Loves to play with toys, and does zoomies in the yard. Rides well in the car in the front seat. She tolerates the vet and just goes limp in situations she is uncomfortable in. With more exposure, socialization and group classes she will only improve. She is a project dog, but will give you her whole heart and soul. Will eventually make a great companion dog, right now she prefers the comfort of her home environ, with added dashes of the new world! Will need a fenced yard, and most importantly another kind playful dog to hang with and be her best friend! Fostered in Bradenton. Will need an adopter or anotehr long term foster who has knowledge of dog behaviour, and lots of patience and love.. This girl only wants to please, and with your help can conquer all those past fears. Make her future a safe and beautiful place!!!
