Hi&#44 Im Noah Im a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart and a quiet soul. Ill be honest-I didnt have the easiest start in life. I grew up in a very crowded home with lots of other dogs&#44 so I didnt get the chance to learn much about the world or make many human friends. Because of that&#44 I can be a little shy at first. But please dont let that fool you-Im incredibly sweet&#44 and every day I find myself opening up a little more. Here at the shelter&#44 Ive made some wonderful human friends and discovered one of my favorite things in the whole world: a warm lap. Sitting close to someone I trust and just watching life go by makes me feel safe and happy. Im also proud to say Im very good on a leash and enjoy calm&#44 peaceful walks. Im looking for a quiet&#44 patient home where I can continue to build my confidence and truly bloom. Id do best with older children (12+) who understand that sometimes a soft voice and gentle movements mean everything to a little guy like me. Other dogs can make me nervous&#44 but I could probably coexist well with a calm canine companion who isnt too pushy while I settle in. On a typical day, she likes to spend equal time taking walks, playing, napping under a pile of blankets and lots of couch cuddling. (She’s a bonafide lap dog!) She’s crate trained and ready for action, loves car rides, too! Katie hasn’t been around young children that we know of but does well with older kids and adults once she gets to know them. She gets along beautifully with her dog housemate and his canine friends as well. On outings she’s leash reactive but treats magically diffuse situations. Ok with cats.
