Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: NoCrate trained: NoHouse trained: Yes (with pee pads)Sui is a very special little lady with an enormous heart and a wonderful personality!Sui thrives being around other pups (the more the merrier) and gains confidence with people through observing other dogs and their human interactions. She is looking for a loving, calm, and consistent home with a confident, nurturing doggie sibling who can help her feel safe and secure. When she is nervous, she takes comfort by snuggling up to other dogs in the home.It may take Sui some time to trust new people, especially men, but once she warms up, she is a sweet, spunky, lovable pup! She loves to stick with her pack and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. For a small dog she easily keeps up with the bigger pups in her foster home. She is also comfortable around cats and has been smitten with a neighbor’s Maine Coon cat. She absolutely loves running with other dogs in a fenced-in area. For a little pup, she is incredibly fast!Sui has good leash manners when using a transitional lead. She enjoys walks around the neighborhood and in the woods, but the beach is her favorite place by far. She has even been known to frequent local breweries to listen to live music! She has started to approach people on her own to say hello as she gets more and more at ease with being in new situations. Sui knows she is pretty and loves to dress up in all her cute outfits, but she is a smart girl too and knows ‘sit’, ‘laydown’, and ‘dance’ for treats. She also has amazing recall and loves sprinting back to her humans when her name is called! She, like most dogs, loves her Lamb Chop toy and will carry it around the house. Sui is uncomfortable around kids, so an adult-only home would be best. Sui has separation anxiety, so she is looking for a home where her humans are around a lot or where there is another dog she can depend on. She is not crate trained, but she can be trusted home alone with another dog, especially if they are gated into a specific area.Sui is a flight risk, so caution will need to be used when walking outdoors or opening doors in the home. Sui is working on house training and does great if taken out on a regular schedule.More than anything in the world, Sui wants to be part of a loving pack that can help her build up her confidence and give her lots of snuggles. While this sweet girl may need a little extra TLC, she is absolutely worth it!Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. She would say age is but a number and has a youthful spirit. Tooty will make a great addition to your family!”Tooty is a medium-low energy pup, who may have a few zoomies but perfectly content chilling on the couch nearby. Tooty’s interacted well with other cats and kids when down south, so she’d likely be fine with another cat or human in the home. She is working on her crate training and house training. While she’d rather be with her people at all times, she has improving on being alone in a puppy pen. She would make a great work from home buddy. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: Mostly House Trained: Yes Lucy is basically a professional snuggler and a certified smooch distributor. You can never have too many kisses, right? This super-chill chihuahua loves to hang by your side—perfect for those Netflix marathons or a retiree looking for a companion that is low-key. Just wait until you see her adorable overbite when she’s smiling at you for a treat—seriously, it’s a heart-melter!Lucy would rather lounge on the couch than run circles in the park, although she won’t say no to a short stroll around the block. She previously resided with 3 smaller dogs and has done well with the dogs in her foster home. Bigger doggos can be a little intimidating due to her short stature but as long as they’re respectful, she’ll let her guard down. Cats are more her speed (and size) and all encounters have been pawsitive, but a dog-savvy feline would be ideal. She made friends with a 5-year-old but given her extremely calm demeanor, would not be a good fit in a home with small children. When it comes to potty-training, she’s well versed, but changes in her environment may lead to the occasional accident - nothing a little patience and consistency won’t fix. Lucy’s dream home would be with a person that lives alone, works from home, or a retiree who can appreciate her love for relaxation and occasional walks. She thrives in calm environments where she can shower her human with affection and bask in the comfort of a serene atmosphere. So, if you’re looking for a sweet companion who will turn your home into a cozy haven of love and snuggles, Lucy is your lady! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes, dog savvy childrenCrate trained: MostlyHouse Trained: MostlyJill is a precious senior girl and an all-around amazing dog. She loves soft pillows, sweaters, warm blankets, and lounging on the couch. She gets along well with everyone she meets, including kids, dogs, and cats. While she's not a big fan of the crate, she does wonderfully when left out at home. You’ll often find her curled up on her pillow under a blanket, enjoying a cozy nap. Although she has a lower energy level, she gets excited when food is involved. Jill is house trained if taken out regularly but will use a potty pad if left alone for too long. She would thrive in a home where she can spend her golden years relaxing and enjoying life with her family.Currently, she lives with seven other dogs, ranging from 8 to 40 pounds, and has never had any issues with them. She prefers snuggling with the calm ones over those who like to play. Jill shares her home with three cats but pays them no mind at all. While she is mostly crate trained and may whine a bit at first, she eventually settles down. At night, she sleeps peacefully in the crate in the bedroom with the door open, enjoying a soft bed and a cozy blanket. This sweet girl would love a quiet home where she can spend her days with a family who can show her lots of love! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
