Story
I got Princess from an old co worker whom promptly blocked me afterwards! She was 5 she is now 7. I had to sadly find out on my own what her health problems are. She is epileptic and I’ve been treating it with CBD oil in her food for a long time and her seizures are down to once every few months. She also has a sensitive stomach and can only eat cooked food with very low fat and vegetables. I also give her purina gummy food at night as dinner and she likes it a lot!

Story
Meet Dottie! She is a 2 year old chihuahua mix that weighs about 9lbs! Dottie was a cruelty case from San Antonio city shelter and needed some TLC once rescued. Dottie is very nervous and shy at first and needs a gentle and experienced adopter that has the time and patience to give her the love she desperately wants. As Dottie transitions into a life without fear, she is learning that not everything is scary, the more exposure to new things that she has she gets more and more comfortable. Dottie loves other dogs and size doesn’t matter! If you have a confident (small or large) dog already, Dottie would fit right in! Although she is nervous and shy, she will follow her canine companions lead and open up more! When you gain Dottie’s trust, she’ll be cuddling with you all night! Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: NoCrate trained: NoHouse trained: Yes (with pee pads)Sui is a very special little lady with an enormous heart and a wonderful personality!Sui thrives being around other pups (the more the merrier) and gains confidence with people through observing other dogs and their human interactions. She is looking for a loving, calm, and consistent home with a confident, nurturing doggie sibling who can help her feel safe and secure. When she is nervous, she takes comfort by snuggling up to other dogs in the home.It may take Sui some time to trust new people, especially men, but once she warms up, she is a sweet, spunky, lovable pup! She loves to stick with her pack and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. For a small dog she easily keeps up with the bigger pups in her foster home. She is also comfortable around cats and has been smitten with a neighbor’s Maine Coon cat. She absolutely loves running with other dogs in a fenced-in area. For a little pup, she is incredibly fast!Sui has good leash manners when using a transitional lead. She enjoys walks around the neighborhood and in the woods, but the beach is her favorite place by far. She has even been known to frequent local breweries to listen to live music! She has started to approach people on her own to say hello as she gets more and more at ease with being in new situations. Sui knows she is pretty and loves to dress up in all her cute outfits, but she is a smart girl too and knows ‘sit’, ‘laydown’, and ‘dance’ for treats. She also has amazing recall and loves sprinting back to her humans when her name is called! She, like most dogs, loves her Lamb Chop toy and will carry it around the house. Sui is uncomfortable around kids, so an adult-only home would be best. Sui has separation anxiety, so she is looking for a home where her humans are around a lot or where there is another dog she can depend on. She is not crate trained, but she can be trusted home alone with another dog, especially if they are gated into a specific area.Sui is a flight risk, so caution will need to be used when walking outdoors or opening doors in the home. Sui is working on house training and does great if taken out on a regular schedule.More than anything in the world, Sui wants to be part of a loving pack that can help her build up her confidence and give her lots of snuggles. While this sweet girl may need a little extra TLC, she is absolutely worth it!Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. She would say age is but a number and has a youthful spirit. Tooty is looking for a home who's patient and willing to take some time to help her break out of her shell!”Tooty is a medium-low energy pup, who may have a few zoomies but perfectly content chilling on the couch nearby. She gets along great with other dogs and would likely do fine with or without a canine sibling. Tooty’s interacted well with other cats and kids, so she’d likely be fine with another cat or human in the home. She would do best with kids who are able to respect her boundaries and provide space to get to know them, as she is building her confidence to new people every day.She is working on her crate training and is mostly house trained. While she’d rather be with her people at all times, she has improving on being alone in a puppy pen. She would make a great work from home buddy. Tooty has had few accidents will continue to improve on a regular routine and schedule. She does well on the leash and loves her daily walks. Tooty is your classic chihuahua and is always up to join you on your adventures, whether it be in the car or simple errands- is she the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. While she will settle into any available lap for hours at end, she also relishes a game of chase or a K9 wrestling match! The right home for Teagan will hopefully pair her with a doggie sibling. A younger, active pup will help to keep her active and engaged. While she has not been exposed to cats, she would likely do well. Her interactions with children have been limited, but she has been very intent on coaxing them into playing! While Teagan is fully house trained, she has not spent any time in the crate. This, as well as leash training, will need to be addressed in her new home. Teagan should also be viewed as a flight risk as she is a door dasher.Small in stature but large in personality, Teagan cannot wait to move into her forever home! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
