Hey! My name is Jack. I am a young 1-2 year old chi/min pin mix… I think. I prefer to think that I am just a small GreyHound! I love to run. Walking is not something I understand! I love to run around the yard, the house, pretty much everywhere I go. I do it at full speed. I am almost 100% potty trained but I have had a few accidents in the house. They may not have been my fault but it did happen. Mommy and daddy were not paying attention to me, so maybe it was their fault. Or maybe it was the cat! I am a bit mouthy. I don’t bite, except the vet. I just like hands and fingers to nibble on. We are working on it and I am getting better. I will sleep in a crate but it isn’t my favorite place to sleep. I will let you know for a minute then fall fast asleep. If I sleep in the bed, I sleep through the night and wont move an inch!! My perfect adopter will be someone that is active and has a fenced in yard. I am small but I can really jump. 4 foot… Easy! Make it 5 foot! If you need a hiking buddy or a running partner, I am your boy. Cats?? Not a problem! Kids. No problem but I may jump on them. I would even love to have another dog friend to chase around. My current dog sister is older and she has a bad attitude!! So if you think I would fit into your family, reach out. By the way, I am an excellent kisser! My husband and I purchased Rosie from Rescue Inc (Great Dog Rescue, New England) on Nov. 17, 2020. She is age 6 Rosie is very intelligent but being half chihuahua, she has a loud bark. Barks mostly at passing cars/trucks, especially while walking. I live in a 55 and over community so there is constant traffic and people walking by. She is a Rescue from Tennessee and has had a difficult traumatic past, with injuries to her face. She is very protective especially with me ever since my husband died 3 years ago. I am hoping she can have more training with her new owner;. She loves meeting new people but gets overly excited; I have very few rugs in my home due to her habit of piddling a bit from her excitement especially with new people. although she is house and puppy pad trained. I use puppy pads in my enclosed porch but usually she will wait til I get home to pee or poop. She has a large crate in my living room and that is where she sleeps through the night or when I’m out.

This cute little lady goes by Ellie. Our friend Ellie has not had an easy past. She`s from an unsanitary and unsafe enviornment where she was likely unable to do `normal dog` things. becuase of this, Ellie is fairly hesitant and unsure about the world around her. She`s an older lady with an old soul. She likes to quietly putter around and relax. Ellie`s dream home is somewhere warm and cozy, with a nice squishy dog bed and fluffy blankets to nestle into. her dream home would let her get comfortable at her own pace, without any expectations aboutt how fast she will warm up. Ellie is also experiencing some level of blindness, so a home that is set up to accomodate her visual impairments is a must! If you are looking to open your home to a worried old couch potato- she is ready for her next chapter!
