Story
****Arriving April 25th Transport**** **SPONSORED BY GREY MUZZLE** Meet Micado, a gentle little soul with a heart full of love and a calm, comforting presence. At 10 years old, this handsome brown chihuahua mix has perfected the art of being the perfect companion—quiet, loyal, and always happy to be by your side. He enjoys the simple things in life: soft blankets, sunny spots for napping, and peaceful strolls where he can take his time and enjoy the world around him. Micado isn’t looking for chaos or constant activity—he’s happiest in a relaxed home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated. Don’t let his age fool you—Micado still has plenty of affection to give and will gladly greet you with a wagging tail and warm eyes. He forms strong bonds with his people and will be a devoted little shadow, always nearby for companionship and comfort. 🌟 A Special Note About Adopting a Senior Dog 🌟 Our senior dogs are proudly sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization, meaning there is no adoption fee to welcome one of these wonderful dogs into your home! While the cost is covered, we ask that all potential adopters understand the unique age-related needs of a senior companion. Please be prepared to see some of these graceful signs of aging: Mobility Changes: A senior dog won't move like a 2-year-old. You may notice mild stiffness or arthritis. Sensory Changes: They might have slight cloudiness in their eyes or some degree of hearing loss. Dental Health: Due to past diet or life as a stray, many rescued dogs, including seniors, may have some compromised dental health. These are natural, non-emergency degenerative issues that come with age. If you are not prepared for the reality that the dog will act and move like a senior, not a puppy, we kindly ask that you explore adopting a younger dog instead. If you are ready to open your heart to a dog that deserves comfort, love, and a peaceful next chapter, our seniors are waiting for you! ❤️ At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. You can trust that every "Fido" in our care is unique, fully vetted, and altered per veterinary guidelines, ready to find their forever home. While their weight or appearance may change as they settle in, our commitment to their health and well-being is unwavering. Whether they're in Texas getting vetted, groomed, and altered, or comfortably settled in New Jersey, all dogs are entrusted to and under the custody of Trust Rescue. They receive loving care in dedicated foster homes or at our facility. No matter where they are, you can trust they are always with us and receiving the best possible care. We've made our adoption process straightforward and accessible because we believe in making adoption achievable for everyone. Ready to Adopt? Apply Today: Fill out our straightforward application! Personalized Meet-and-Greet: If we believe your family is the right fit, our team will contact you within 1-2 business days. We'll schedule a private, 30-minute meet-and-greet at our Trust HQ. This dedicated time is exclusively for your family an your potential new trusted companion. Affordable Adoption: Our adoption fee is designed to be affordable. There are several ways to meet the wonderful dogs available for adoption: Join us at our adoption events every Saturday! Visit our website for future transport information and schedules. Follow us, Trust Rescue, on: Our website: https://www.trustrescue.org/adoptable-dogs Facebook, and Instagram for continuous updates on our available Fidos and Saturday events. We're always posting new information! Many of our dogs have lived with cats. You have all of the information here, to the best of our knowledge. We believe in transparency and providing you with everything we know about our trusted companions. Story
Penny is a 4 year old beagle/chihuahua mix, with the cutest little white heart on the top of her head. She is a sweet girl with a playful and loving personality. She loves to run and play, belly rubs, and cuddling with her humans. She likes to play fetch...although she forgets to bring the toy back to you lol. She is house broken and even knows a few commands, such as sit, down (to lay down) and leave it (not to pick up any food dropped on the floor). Penny is very protective of her family, and because of that, she does not always get along with other dogs. She'd probably be best with bigger male dogs. Her ideal home would be with someone who is patient and attentive. A home with a yard and older children. Penny is loved very much by us, but unfortunately, we are unable to care for her any longer. Therefore, we need to find her a safe and loving home as soon as possible.

Story
Priscilla Mae is a 2-month-old Chihuahua puppy with a big personality packed into a tiny 4-pound body! This spunky little girl is full of life, curiosity, and charm, and she keeps everyone smiling with her playful antics. She’s currently thriving in a foster home while she waits for her forever family. Priscilla is a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her person and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.Because of her small size, Priscilla is looking for a home with dog-savvy kids or no young children, where she can stay safe and be handled appropriately. She would love a similarly sized dog friend to play with and keep her company. This clever girl is also quite the little escape artist and can climb, so a secure, well-fenced yard is a must to keep her safe.If you’re ready for a fun, affectionate, and tiny companion, Priscilla Mae could be the perfect fit. Please apply on our website, and we will be in touch to set up a meet and greet.
