We love to spend time together and snuggle but are just as eager to meet new people and make new friends. We have silly and sweet personalities. When we go in the dog yard you'd never know we were senior pups, we run and play like puppies! We're so small that two of us are basically equivalent to one dog anyway, right? Cinnamon’s a 2yo 15lb chi mix. She’s dog and kid 12+ friendly. She needs time to warm up and get used to new people and environments. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and pee pad trained. She is used to a secure fenced in yard and would need to learn to go on harness leashed walks. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She can be skittish when she first meets people, but once she gets to know you, she’s a real sweetheart and she’s very smart. She’s very active, playful, and a very sweet girl. She came from a hoarding situation which is why she needs time to warm up to new people. Cinnamon’s foster requires a home that gives her space and time to get to know them and the new environment, let her come to them at her own pace along with having a secure 6ft high fence the is not chain link since she can climb them. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Cinnamon as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Cinnamon is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Sammy’s an 8yo 9lb Chi/min pin. He’s dog and kid friendly. He’s house and pee pad trained. He is good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He’s very cuddly, affectionate, loves to sit with his people, on legs, on lap, beside and his morning belly rubs are a must. His foster momma says He rarely barks, doesn’t shed who is a happy little couch potato, looking for love. Sammy’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be allowed on furniture to be near his people, to sleep with his people along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. Sammy’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Elkins Park, PA.
