Story
Fernando may technically be a 15lb Chihuahua, but if you ask him he’s 150lb of confidence with the attitude to match! He fully expects the world to treat him like the heavyweight champ he is, even if he runs around on four tiny little legs.Titles he accepts: “Tough Guy” “Boss”Titles he rejects: “Peanut” “Lap Dog” No purses. No costumes. No being carried like a baby. Respect the swagger! At 5 years old, this pint-sized powerhouse is searching for a calm, low-traffic home with one special human who understands that trust takes time. He keeps his inner circle exclusive — he can count his besties at the VAO on one paw — but once you’re in, congratulations: you’ve gained a fiercely loyal little shadow.Fernando struts on his daily walks like he owns the neighborhood and keeps pace with the big dogs without breaking a sweat. What he doesn’t love? Chaos. Crowds. Kids. Basically anything that challenges his inner peace or personal bubble. In the right home, Fernando is a comedic, affectionate sidekick with a skyscraper-sized personality packed into a teeny weeny body. If you’re looking for a tiny dog with major main-character energy, Fernando is ready for his starring role — by your side.

Story
Chiko is the real deal!! Chiko is a 11 month old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who is looking for his very own family!! He is up to date on his vaccines. has been neutered and weights just under 12 pounds! His legs may only be 4&#34 inches long, he can jump like an Olympian Gold Medalist! Chiko has two speeds - lightening and snuggling/napping ! He can be shy, reluctantly sleeps all night in his crate, potties outside and loves to play with his toys! He must have a fenced in yard- a tall fence - those little legs have springs!!! We are working on leash training . Chiko loves other dogs and people - he is easy to love! He would do well with another playful dog or two! https://www.trackabeast.com/tabbe/form/790/7000790146940/dog/adoption_allmuttsmatter.html Email AMMRSteveA@gmail.com for an application. Story
Giovanni’s a 1yo 10lb chi/fox terrier mix. He’s dog friendly with slow introductions. He’s pee pad and house trained when kept on a schedule. He loves his people, is very cuddly and prefers to sleep in his person’s lap. He loves to play fetch and chew on toys. He’s very smart, attentive, loving, but can get anxious in new situations that may be scary for him. Giovanni’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, another dog that is calm along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Giovanni’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Phila, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
Peter Pan’s a possibly 9yo 10lb Chi. He’s dog, cat and kid friendly. He’s working on house training, will wear a belly band and sometimes uses Pee Pads. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard along with going on 30-40minute harness leashed walks. He loves to be with his person and on their lap along with hanging with other dogs. He is very sweet, mellow and friendly. He will bark to tell you he is hungry, wants to go out or be picked up. He loves to go wherever his person goes and enjoys car rides. Peter Pan’s foster requires he be able to sleep in bed with his person. Peter Pan as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Peter Pan’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Phila, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
