Iggy is a Chiweenie with the absolute best personality. He walks on leash and harness has pretty good. Potty manners is not super barky and is just an awesome boy all around. He’s great with all other animals. Iggy is approximately 6 to 7 years old and weighs 12 pounds short and stout. He just had a dental . Loves his people and gets very attached quickly. Currently fostered in Texas Sir Patrick Frankenstein This tall, adorable, quirky, loving , little man is apx 5 years young and 9.2 pounds. He is a complete gem 95% of the time and he is 5 % chi tude. He is naughty boy when it comes to fussing over him about his nails, going to the vet etc and would need a muzzle. Outside of that he is pretty good. He does hold a grudge though, we must be soul mates 😂. He walks on leash , is pretty good at using the potty outside but he did mark a couple times his first couple days in his temporary fosters home , he was easily corrected though and they just used a belly band for a couple days until he got on a walk routine. He is not overly barky or yappy , but will bark at strangers and alert if somebody is in the yard or at the door that he deemed should not be there. He has a long coat but really is not much of a shedder. He does get along with other dogs for the most part but again he does have a bit of a Chihuahua attitude and could get a little snarky from time to time Patrick has far more good qualities than bad and he would do well with a person that is used to having a “stereotypical” chihuahua , and is somewhat dog savvy. No small children please, middle school years and up ! He is great with cats. Meet Lotus (Lolo)! ❤️ At 10 years young and just 7.5 pounds, Lotus—affectionately known as Lolo—is a tiny sweetheart with a big personality. With her short legs and long body, we think she may be a Chiweenie mix, although she certainly has plenty of Chihuahua charm! Lolo came into rescue through no fault of her own when her loving owner could no longer afford the treatment she needed for seizures. Thanks to proper veterinary care, she is now stable and thriving. She will need lifelong medication, which she happily takes tucked inside a tiny pill pocket. Aside from her well-managed seizures and some mild age-related vision changes, she's in wonderful health. She has also had a dental, been spayed, and had a benign mammary tumour removed. Lolo is equal parts sweet and sassy! She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and is good with respectful children, though her tiny size makes her better suited to a home without very young kids. She hasn't been tested with cats. This little lady loves life! She enjoys zoomies, playing fetch with soft toys, and proudly removing every squeaker and bit of stuffing she can find. When playtime is over, she's happiest curled up in your lap giving kisses or snuggled under the blankets beside you at bedtime. Lotus loves sunny days, leisurely walks filled with lots of sniffing, and spending time outdoors. She has good emerging leash manners and is fully house-trained in her foster home, using either the yard or pee pads. Like many dogs, she may need a little patience while adjusting to a new home, but she's a quick learner. Lolo can be vocal when she hears noises or visitors arrive—not because she's unfriendly, but because she'd much rather be picked up for cuddles! Because of this, a detached home would likely suit her better than an apartment or townhouse. If you're looking for a loving little companion with plenty of personality, Lotus is ready to fill your home—and your lap—with love.

Lucas is approximately 10 months old and weighs 9 pounds. He is shy at first but comes around very quickly. He bonds with his people very quickly and is extremely sweet. He is great with cats, kids and other dogs, although he does not seem to have a huge tolerance for the puppies jumping up and biting him all over , he is very sophisticated for his age 😂 Lucas is friendly, although he is shy and timid with meeting new people and especially when he is in new places. He does need work on leash and harness walking only because he does get nervous of places he does not know. He does not try to run or alligator roll, but he kind of just freezes so you have to use a lot of positive reinforcement and baby talk. He needs to be socialized more and gain some confidence but he is on the right track. He is an all around great little dog and will be a fantastic family member, he just needs a small nudge to be a bit more brave 💪 Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.
