Lyle is sponsored by Dan Flensborg.Hi my name is Lyle!I'm a sweet little guy, looking for my forever lap to lay in.I can be shy at first but do warm up and am very loving once I do.I am a typical little dog and can be very anxious in new situations so I need a home that will give me the time I need to thrive. The ideal home for me would be somewhere calm, where I can open up and show my true caring personality. If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm (summer hours). If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.

Story
Boone is a dapper little guy who came into a California shelter with a fractured pelvis. After much crate rest he is all healed up and you wouldn't even know he had the injury. - Approximately 4 years old and 15lbs - He's a wonderful little mixed breed but we gave it our best guess of Chihuahua/Dachschund - Can be calm but also playful, he's a nice mix of energy - Crates and will go in the crate to sleep on his own - Good with other dogs - Cats unknown but we think he would probably be fine with them - We have not seen him with kids but think children ages 9+ would be ok Boone is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $350 adoption fee Fostered in Portland, Oregon Apply to adopt Boone on our website: www.agavedogs.org

Story
Lorraine is a gorgeous gal with an Isabella colored coat that is wispy with fringe in places. Lorraine was in a California shelter and we were happy to help her out and into our foster program. - Approximately 2 years old and 11 pounds - Likely a Chihuahua mix - Would love to be your only pet as she prefers to keep to people mostly. She is fostered with another small dog that is larger than her but she mostly prefers to keep to herself and is sometimes snippy with the other dog. This is improving though. - Fostered with a cat and does fine with the cat so long as the cat leaves her alone. If the cat comes around her she will snip at the cat to get it to go away. - Very sweet girl who wants to cuddle and be your little shadow, following you all around - Calmer energy and enjoys napping and snuggles - Potty habits have been perfect with not accidents Lorraine is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $300 adoption fee Fostered in NW Portland Apply to adopt Lorraine on our website: www.agavedogs.org

Story
Great energetic small pup looking for a nice quiet family with another small dog! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Thumper is a 4 mos (DOB 3 Jan 24) and 7.5 lbs Chi/Terrier mix. HEY!! YOU!! LOOK AT ME!! Have you ever seen anything cuter??? Listen, I need a home and you’re lookin’ for a pal so here we are! I’m the one! What are you waiting’ for??? Click on ADOPT and get with it!! I survived a hoarder situation with my 3 siblings, but I came out of it happy and cuddly and friendly. And playful and funny, and I’d love a little playmate pup but no kids cuz I’m scared of being picked up. I think I’m a chihuahua mixed with something bigger so maybe I’ll be about 15 lbs. I’ll be real shy at first, but give me steps and I’ll be up on your lap in no time. Might even sleep with you someday if you’ll let me. Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
