Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 7 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Ruby! This sweet young lady is everything wrapped up in one adorable little package. Ruby was rescued from a hoarding situation where she lived with many dogs in a small apartment with very little human interaction. Because of that, the world is still new to her — but she’s learning every day that it can be a safe and happy place. Ruby bonds easily with other dogs and truly thrives with canine companionship. She looks to other dogs for comfort and guidance, and meeting new dog friends is her absolute favorite thing! A confident, friendly dog in her forever home would help her continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a dog who instantly bonds with people, Ruby may not be your girl just yet. She needs a patient, loving, and understanding home that will give her the time and space to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, you’ll see her sweet and silly personality shine. Ruby may be slow to trust, but she’s incredibly observant and learns quickly. From chasing her own shadow to hopping up on her hind legs to catch a moth, her goofy curiosity and innocent spirit will absolutely melt your heart. With patience, love, and a cozy spot to curl up at night, Ruby will grow into the most loyal and devoted companion. Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Flamingo is a shy puppy who would thrive with a patient adopter willing to take the time to let her warm up and become your best friend. We are seeking a home for her with another friendly dog because dog friends help boost her confidence. Preference for adopters with a fenced yard because Flamingo has not learned to walk on leash just yet and she can have some reactivity seeing other dogs. Her adoption fee price is lowered to help this worthy little pup find a good home.- Approximate date of birth is 10/24/25- 9.3 pounds and likely close to full grown. She may mature to 10 or 11 pounds at most. - Rescued out of an outdoor California shelter where she had come in as a stray with another puppy. The other puppy has since found a home.- Loves to play with other dogs and is fostered with 3 other dogs of all sizes and both sexes.- Adores the 8 year old child in the home and will sit on her lap and cuddle. We think Flamingo could do well with gentle kids. - Has been fostered with a cat and was polite, no aggression.- Is doing some excellent socialization and exposure in foster going on car rides and outings. She rides well in the car and no car sickness. - Has not started leash training yet, so that is something a new adopter would need to start her on. - Stunning red puppy who just needs a committed person to help her build confidence and learn the world is safe and fun. Flamingo is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes her spay at 7-12 months of age with one of our partner veterinary clinics in Milwaukie or SW Portland. It also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.$250 adoption feeFostered in Gresham, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT FLAMINGO ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Hi! My name is Toadette. I was rescued from a homeless camp in Bakersfield, CA and I'm safe now with my rescue in Oregon. I'm a happy, healthy girl. I am about 2.5 months old and I weigh approximately 4.3lbs. I'll be a small little dog. I'm told I'm a very pretty girl. I have a fun personality and I love everyone. I do great with other dogs and I don't mind cats, I'm very curious. I'm up to date on my vaccines, crate and potty pad training, and I'm microchipped. If you are interested in giving me my forever family, please go directly to my rescues website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete my adoption application. I look forward to meeting you! Love, Toadette
