HI - I'M PRIYA! I'm a 5-year-old, 5-pound little girl in need of a forever home! I was rescued from the streets and now am in a wonderful foster home. I get along great with other dogs and I love people, too. I'm an active little girl so would do well with someone who likes to go for walks or outings. I'm spayed & up-to-date on my vaccines, and I had a dental! Please email for an application.

Story
Lucky (1 year old, 18-20 lbs) seems to love everyone he meets. He has that young dog energy and is very playful with other dogs. So far he has gotten along with both big and small dogs. He will happily chase or be chased all around the yard! Because he's so young and loves to play, he's still working on listening  to cues when other dogs might be done playing.  Lucky currently lives with two dogs and a cat. He has shown a little interest in the cat, but the interest is waning as the cat has let him know she doesn't want a new friend. He may still go up to her, but with a bit of redirection from cat or human he will go tend to other matters. In fact, as I write this they are on opposite ends of the couch ignoring each other.  He is very affectionate with humans. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs, and he will sleep with you at night if you let him. Soooo sweet and cuddly.  Lucky enjoys his walks and has done well on leash. Not too much pulling and he has not been leash reactive when he sees other dogs. He loves to make quick stops and investigate spots of interest with a sniff or two. He is potty trained and has not been destructive at all.   I don't recommend any small kids in the household as he occasionally will nip for attention or gnaw/get mouthy while playing.  Apply for Lucky here: https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##2124310##

Story
My name is Sadie, and Im a diamond in a rhinestone world! Me and my sister, Penny, are looking for the dream home to spend our days cuddling, exploring, and stealing your heart. After being surrendered by my previous owner, Ive had no trouble making new friends and finding peace wherever I end up. I love kids, other small dogs, and respectful cats. My perfect home would be with someone who can take me on occasional short walks and keep my luxurious fur well groomed. Even though Im entering my senior years, I have no trouble keeping up with fun activities and Im in tip top shape. I may be a little shy at first, but any warm lap is my happy place. As long as I can continue living with Penny, I can adapt to many different types of living environments. Could you be my newest BFF?Penny and I are currently in a foster home - please reach out to an Animal Aid representative to meet us.Approx. Date of Birth: 6/24/2014 Weight: 15 lbs

Story
Meet Princess Tiana: A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home Princess Tiana is a delightful companion seeking a peaceful environment to call her own. This sweet girl thrives in a calm setting and would be most comfortable in a peaceful household away from city life. She’s completely crate trained and sleeps all night in her crate … soundly! Tiana could flourish in a home with another small to medium-sized dog that has a gentle play style. She loves to play chase with the resident dogs that are larger in size. She is respectful to the dogs that don't want to play. She is all legs and reminds us of a gazelle as she sprints across the yard! She is tolerant of cats and has experience living with them. On leash, Tiana walks gracefully with her nose to the ground, enjoying the scents of her surroundings. She maintains a steady pace by your side or slightly behind, making her an excellent companion for leisurely evening strolls. A home with a small yard would be great so she can venture around and get her sniffs in. Tiana loves to ride in the car. Her foster mom uses a harness system to keep her safe. She will usually curl up on the seat and sleep. During her touch test, Tiana displayed a calm and unbothered demeanor. She didn’t mind being touched and even allowed being held like a baby for a photo without hesitation. This sweet temperament extends to her interactions with people, where she maintains a gentle and independent demeanor. She would do well in a home with adults or older kids that would respect her space when she needs it. With time she will sit and cuddle with you on the couch and enjoy some relaxing time at home. Princess Tiana is a loving dog who would thrive in a home with understanding adults or older children who respect her boundaries and appreciate her affectionate yet independent nature. With the right companionship and environment, Tiana promises to be a loyal and cherished member of her forever home. Email: kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
