DOB 5-5-2022 Tommy, The Rock Opera, he is a star! Tommy, sweet little ChiChi, is looking for a Mom, he does like to play with other littles, enjoys toys and is social and kind. He wants to spend all his time with his special person so get ready for a best friend. Tommy is a little guy so he needs a protector, lots of love and several cozy places around the house. Tommy's adoption fee is 500.00, his transport fee is 165.00 and is paid to our transport company HEARTS LLC. Tommy is complete on all medical, he is heartworm negative, on Proheart 6 preventative and up to date on everything. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Reese, 5 months old, on 5/29/24, is a chocolate and tan, male chihuahua looking for his perfect forever home. His owner died and no one in the family wanted him. A good Samaritan stepped in and took him so that he would not have to go to the shelter. We were contacted and fortunately had a foster home for him. This social little guy loves everything and everybody. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. He weighed 11 pounds on 8/15/2024. He is very smart and is learning how to walk on a leash. He seems to do ok riding in the car but does not like having to ride in a crate during the ride. He’d much prefer to sit with his person. Reese is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $250 with an additional $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Reese, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. Story
Surrendered by my former home and only having lived with one person without much socialization, I find myself unsure of people, yet longing to be loved.  I’m Snoopy, a 2 yr old Long Haired Chihuahua mix Boy, weighing about 15 #, who is uncertain of the outside world. Having lived most of my first year with one person, I’m shy, timid, reserved and skittish to people and situations. ( NOT Aggressive ). On the “FLIP SIDE” I LOVE other dogs, am gentle, good natured and playful! My fear CAN BE CORRECTED with your love, understanding and time. I’m very intelligent and sometimes to smart for my own good.  My caregivers tell me that I think I’m a big dog in a little dogs body.  I say I’m large and in charge.  I still have things to learn about being a dog and living in a home, but with your help, I’m sure this won’t take long. Just having consistent care givers I’m already learning to give and take love here. Being VERY DOG FRIENDLY, another dog would be best in my new home, but not required. Sorry, no kids due to my skittishness, for my safety. NO issues with aggression, just safety.  I do require a 4 ft fenced yard due to my fear, shyness and just for my safety as well. So, what ya think? Do you want to take a “GAMBLE”, “Roll the Dice”, and “HIT the JACKPOT”!  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 14, 2024, 8:08 pm

Story
Extremely Sweet and Loving, BUT Special Needs, this boy has been maltreated. Ah...Titan! He was picked up by animal control on Frye St, and apparently the owners didn't think enough of him to go get him. On euthanize date he was pulled into rescue. Mr. Titan was eventually sent up north for rehoming. After being adopted out twice, he was returned to Tennessee. The problem? Titan loves adult people, but Titan doesn't like to be told what to do. If you send him to his crate, he will growl and carry on all the way to his place. You have to understand the "Pocket Wolf"...they are so very small, that they usually display attitude. This does not mean anything really, but some people are intimidated by it. So! Unless you really understand and have past experience with this breed, please scroll on by. Titan needs a forever home, not another bounce back. Contact us and we will put you in contact with is foster to answer any questions.

Story
Sven was adopted at 2 years old and is now 9 years old. He’s a great boy ready to settle down and spend time laying next to someone who’s not away from home too much. He’s getting older so is not high energy but still enjoys walks around the block.
