Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Baby Sage was found alone ands scared but has thrived being in a foster home with love, good food, and other pups to play and snuggle with! Story
My name is Happy ! My foster mom is Sasha ( Shes up for adoption too !) My real mom and dad passed away before help arrived . I came into rescue from a hoarding case out of Whittmann Arizona . I was pretty young , 3 weeks old at most , but super thankful my foster mom took me on ! I am super sweet and loving ! I am familiar with a kennel and have been working on kennel training since Mid-January , I would do good another dog in the home to help guide me and so I don't feel lonely. I do know how to use a dog door and I am about 90% potty trained but I do need reminders sometimes , and I am kenneled at night with my bedtime routine. Since day one I have had a problem with sharing food , we have worked on it Daily , I do great when I eat next to my mom who teaches me to respect my elders and use my manners. When I am eating with my other siblings , I want to be in charge , so we do feeding time in my kennel and we work on sharing treats with friends , I have made improvements , My new family will need to continue working with me so I understand , I will never be starved again , the first 3 weeks of my life were rough but I am making improvements. I love toys and chew toys are helping with my new teeth coming in. I am a little more outgoing compared to my siblings but we are all growing at our own pace. Lucy is about 4 years old and is a sweet, gentle girl who forms strong bonds with the people she loves. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being close and spending time with you, though she does take a little time to warm up to new people and situations. She can be skittish and cautious by nature, something she’s been like since she was very young. Lucy does well with other dogs and would ideally go to a home with another dog, as she’s always had a canine companion (we are keeping our older dog). She’s used to being around kids, though she may be shy at first until she gets to know them. If she’s very uncomfortable, she may give a small growl as a warning, but she has never snapped or bitten anyone, including at the vet. She is kennel trained and finds comfort in her crate. Lucy knows Sit, Stay, Spin, Wait, and Shake. Her kennel and some of her favorite toys will come with her. She received all her early-life vaccinations and will need an updated rabies shot.
