Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Story
Dexter is a deeply loved 8-year-old Chihuahua, Dachshund, and German Shepherd mix. I brought him home as a tiny puppy, and he has been part of my family ever since. He is intelligent, affectionate, loyal, and emotionally aware. Dexter loves cuddling, movie nights, sleeping under a blanket, twice-daily walks, and treats like blueberries, green beans, and carrots. He enjoys chasing birds and may be open to more adventures. This is a heartbreaking decision, but my life changed unexpectedly when I took in my 10-month-old grandchild. I am hoping to find Dexter a calm, stable, loving home where he will be safe, happy, and truly cherished. Dexter is not adjusting well to having a mobile baby in the home and would do best in a calm home without small children.

Javy is 8 years old and has been such a loyal dog to us. We got him as a puppy at 6 weeks old and he is such a lover! Unfortunately over the years he has become anxious with our young children and recently he has began showing some aggressive behaviors towards our 1 year old. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him and are hopeful we can find an owner with no kids or older children. Thank you!

Neutered-Vaccinated-Microchipped-Dewormed-Crate trained-Knows how to use a dog door My name is Happy ! My foster mom is Sasha ( Shes up for adoption too !) My real mom and dad passed away before help arrived . I came into rescue from a hoarding case out of Whittmann Arizona . I was pretty young , 3 weeks old at most , but super thankful my foster mom took me on ! I am super sweet and loving ! I am familiar with a kennel and have been working on kennel training since Mid-January , I would do good another dog in the home to help guide me and so I don't feel lonely. I do know how to use a dog door and I am about 90% potty trained but I do need reminders sometimes , and I am kenneled at night with my bedtime routine. Since day one I have had a problem with sharing food , we have worked on it Daily , I do great when I eat next to my mom who teaches me to respect my elders and use my manners. When I am eating with my other siblings , I want to be in charge , so we do feeding time in my kennel and we work on sharing treats with friends , I have made improvements , My new family will need to continue working with me so I understand , I will never be starved again , the first 3 weeks of my life were rough but I am making improvements. I love toys and chew toys are helping with my new teeth coming in. I am a little more outgoing compared to my siblings but we are all growing at our own pace.
