Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Story
My name is Happy ! My foster mom is Sasha ( Shes up for adoption too !) My real mom and dad passed away before help arrived . I came into rescue from a hoarding case out of Whittmann Arizona . I was pretty young , 3 weeks old at most , but super thankful my foster mom took me on ! I am super sweet and loving ! I am familiar with a kennel and have been working on kennel training since Mid-January , I would do good another dog in the home to help guide me and so I don't feel lonely. I do know how to use a dog door and I am about 90% potty trained but I do need reminders sometimes , and I am kenneled at night with my bedtime routine. Since day one I have had a problem with sharing food , we have worked on it Daily , I do great when I eat next to my mom who teaches me to respect my elders and use my manners. When I am eating with my other siblings , I want to be in charge , so we do feeding time in my kennel and we work on sharing treats with friends , I have made improvements , My new family will need to continue working with me so I understand , I will never be starved again , the first 3 weeks of my life were rough but I am making improvements. I love toys and chew toys are helping with my new teeth coming in. I am a little more outgoing compared to my siblings but we are all growing at our own pace. **COOL COLLETTE** Age 8 Phoenix AZ. Meet Collette. This sweet mama was rescued from a hording situation with one of her pups. Her pup has been adopted and now its her turn. She came to us with VF December 2024. She has been getting so much love and meds and she has turned a healthy corner and is now looking for her fur-ever happy ending! She is a petite little gem weighing in at about 10lbs. She is so loving with her foster is now playing with toys....we are guessing she never had any of her own before....she loves to sunbathe and is big and small dog friendly. She is shy at first and needs a family that will give her time to feel safe....and she will warm up and be so loving. When her titer is at an acceptable level she will be spayed. Collette is a sweet senior girl who deserves all the pampering and love she has never received until she came to us! Fully vetted, microchipped & spayed when titer neg and UTD on all shots. **MARVELOUS MR. J.** Age 5mos Phoenix AZ. Oh Mr. J. is such a jolly little guy! He came to us with his siblings and Mama Ruby a few months ago as an owner surrender. Most of his siblings were adopted...but Mr. J. and his brother Prince are still looking for fur-ever. Mr. J. is a Chihuahua mix with beautiful black and white markings.
