Starski is a 2 year old male Chiweenie Mix. He is a little guy who loves to roll around on the grass. He is pretty low maintenance, and would thrive in any home as long as he is loved, and getting table scraps is always a bonus. Starski's favorite day time activity is sitting on your feet while you make lunch. Starski came with 9 other dogs named Cobra, Dumpling, Ganta, Milo, Molly, Saki, Soju, Tempura, and Ziti from an overcrowded shelter who asked us to help. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. My wife and I adopted Donut when he was a few months old, he will be turning 6 next month. Donut is a little 10lb Chiweenie, he is black and white. Donut is a a fun dog, he likes to play, run and he likes all people. We are looking for a new home for him because we are expecting our second child and we are without any family support. We have struggled to give him attention while taking care of one baby and holding down busy work loads. Donut is not getting the attention he is was used to getting for the last 5 years. I think he gets hurt when he see's the two of us giving our baby all of our focus. We feel bad for him, we want him to live his best life. He needs to be with someone who can give him attention. He does well around other dogs, it would be great if he could be in a situation where he had another dog friend to keep him company.

They were shy, covered in fleas, and in need of some much needed attention. After a few weeks in our care they have come out of their shells and their personalities are beginning to blossom. They are all very sweet, playful and energetic. They are ready to forget about their pasts and move on to a brighter future with a forever family.
