She is extremely friendly, gets along with other dogs and so fun to watch her prance around with her longer legs and thin muzzle. She is smaller in person than the pictures which are enlarged look. Cassidy will be spayed, is current on shots, deworming and Advantix. Adoption Fee: $250 YOU CAN EMAIL US AT RESQPUPPIES@GMAIL.COM AND ASK FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. Chester is a 1-year-old, 9-pound pup who came into the Calexico shelter as a stray. The shelter was overwhelming for him, so he moved into a foster home after about two weeks — and he’s been blossoming ever since. When Chester first arrived, he wasn’t used to human affection and preferred to hide. With patience, he’s learned to trust and now enjoys being close by. He still needs a calm, patient home that will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Chester is a sweet, curious little guy who loves the company of other dogs and even lives peacefully with two cats in his foster home. He especially thrives when he has a confident dog friend to show him the ropes — and to romp around with! One of Chester’s favorite things is going on walks. He’s also very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He’s a smart boy who’s eager to learn once he feels comfortable. The ideal home for Chester is one that’s quiet and understanding, with a family willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. These previous little ladies are mother and daughter. Sissy, the mom is 8 years old and her daughter, Chloe is 5 years old. Their owner passed away and they went to a home where they were attacked by the large dog who lived there. Sissy’s leg was broken and had to be amputated and her eye was lost due to the injury. Chloe’s eye was so damaged it needed to be removed. Our wonderful veterinarian worked hard to help these dear ladies. We will soon be having them spayed and their teeth cleaned. They came to us injured and are still full of love and kisses. These precious girls are 6 lbs. We are hoping someone will fall in love with them and provide a home or foster home.
