Story
This handsome hunk of a peanut is Frijol! He came into rescue with his sister Arroz (their names mean beans and rice!) when their family was going through a major hardship and was unable to continue caring for them. They came into the pound and were so scared, and the volunteers hearts just broke for them. Thankfully a wonderful couple who volunteers agreed to foster these two adorable little darlings until they find forever homes!
Frijol is an incredible little guy who is 3 years old and weighs 14 lbs. He’s thicker like a doxie, and is just absolutely adorable! He’s been to the vets and had everything done! Hes now current on vaccines, deworming, preventative, and heartworm tested negative. He has also been microchipped and neutered! This guy is healthy and happy, and ready to start his next beautiful chapter in life!
Frijol is white a ham. He is an avid snuggler and has fantastic house manners. When he came into foster care he was so scared, mourning the loss of his family and going thru so many transitions. He kept to himself for the first day and shortly began to really blossom. He’s a playful sweet little man who truly just longs to be someone’s devoted companion and snuggle buddy. He is excellent going potty outside and reliably will go on either pee pads or out in the yard. He enjoys his playtime with toys and loves his treats, but has an overall easy going activity level. He’s happy to take walks and go for car rides, he likes his toys, and gets excited about fun new things. That said, he is also happy to lay by your side snuggled up while you do work, read a book or watch a movie. His dream is to find a forever home that is easy going where he will be able to snuggle up on the sofa and in bed with his parents, and soak up lots of love! He’s living with other pups now but will do just fine as an only pup, he is also excellent with cats! Just looking for a warm, soft, peaceful, loving, happy home to call his own.
