Meet Miney Little, at 3 lbs he is the perfect size to bring everywhere you go. Miney Little is an 8 weeks old bundle of puppy kisses, snuggles and shenanigans. He is a playful silly boy who loves to follow his person everywhere then get picked up and curl into you for a nap. He is great with other dogs and with cats, has been super playful with children and simply adores everyone he meets. He may be a lil guy but he has a huge personality and can’t wait to show you how much fun he can be. Miney Little will make a great addition to your family. Miney Little is hw (heartworm) negative, fully vetted and microchipped. Adopters are responsible for setting up spay/ neuter procedure with their vet. There is an additional $100 deposit added to the adoption donation of unaltered puppies which will be refunded after proof of spay/neuter. This poor little guy was found stray with a broken leg. It has been surgically repaired, and he is healing well. He is a very nice little dog, thought to be around 18 years old but has spirit and love to give. He is quiet and clean and would be a great senior dog for someone who wants to help. And he sees and hears and loves to explore.

This is "Nosey". She is a 4 year old Chihuahua. Nosey comes to us from a litter of 4, 1 male and 3 females. Their owner has to find homes for the dogs because he has cancer and he cannot take care of the dogs. We could only take 2 of the dogs. We took Nosey and 1 of her sisters. We hope the other 2 dogs will go to another rescue soon. The 2 dogs are very nice little dogs and they have such nice temperaments. They are not fussy eaters. Sad to say, none of the dogs have ever been to a veterinarian. As soon as our veterinarian comes back from vacation, Nosey and her sister will go and get fully vetted. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments! Children must be 6 years old or older. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Nosey is $400.00 to $450.00 due to the high cost of veterinarian care. You can meet Nosey on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. APPLY FOR COCOA I'm Cocoa, a charming little guy at around 10 months old. I'm a handsome Chihuahua mix tipping the scales at 13 lbs, and I won't be growing much larger. I've been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated to keep me healthy and happy.   My journey has been a bit of a whirlwind. I found myself wandering as a stray until I landed at the doorstep of a kind elderly lady who took me in and showed me compassion by feeding me and giving me lots of love. It's because of her that I'm now on the lookout for my forever family. Though my start in life had its challenges, my heart remains full of sweetness. I might be a tad shy at first, but I quickly open up to those who show me kindness. I'm quite fond of other dogs and children, and I tend to overlook cats, so I’d fit in well even in a household with feline friends.   What I dream of most is a forever family who will play with me and continue my training—I'm just as clever as I am lovable!
